Gay or straight, sexual orientation shouldn't be discussed in a movie aimed at preteens. Let them keep their innocence for a few more years.
What if she got un-disabled? I didn't watch the show, I was just speculating.
I though maybe they were really little kids who developed and survived without adults, like in Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, but like a previous poster said, not enough time has elapsed for that to happen. Maybe they were in a cult previous to the apocalypse?

The young left has mostly been indoctrinated though schools and media since childhood. The very far right hears and repeats hateful (sometimes) rhetoric at home. They never fully realize the truth of any situation, because they can see things from the other side. We need a return of the moderate right and moderate left. I think the moderate left is almost completely defunct now, but the moderate right is a big group.
I've heard this before, but I think it would take REALLY, REALLY convincing evidence to convince people (including me) that it was more than a conspiracy theory.
There are violent and hateful people on both sides. The liberal side seems to be the first to go to riots and violence when they don't get their way. They are only "tolerant" when you agree with them. The very far right is mostly the same, though.
The button needs to boot a troll if the get x number of ignores.
Think what could be accomplished if we harnessed that passion and energy, and diverted it to useful purposes that benefited us all.
I didn't vote for him, but now I hope he succeeds. The USA needs hope now, not petty division.
