I saw it on TV during the 70's. Talked about it to my coworkers but could never remember the name. Some didn't even believe it existed. Couple years ago took me about 5 minutes to find it on Google search. Now it's even on YouTube.
I'd like to see him track down Excalibur.
Wasn't it actually filmed in L.A? Some people have pointed out in the past that palm trees are visible in some scenes which don't grow in Chicago.
In real life, extreme heat effects computer programming. perhaps it was just running through its memory as the malfunction cascaded.
I always felt the explanation was that there might still be residual energy from Doom in the machine which was drained when Ben used it a second time.
The first attempt (1994) was never intended to be released. They had to make a film by a certain time or the rights would have reverted back to Marvel. So the producers made it to buy time. Supposedly the actors and crew were pissed afterwards.
I was watching the show with my daughter who really wanted to see it. Spent half the time stopping the DVR so I could answer her questions about what happened in the comics. I have to admit though the show is not as bad as I expected it would be. I really expected FreeForm would turn it into a joke. By choice, I might give it a few episodes. However after the attempted rape scene, my wife has made it clear my daughter will not be watching any more episodes unless I clear them first, so I might get stuck watching the whole series anyway.
But now Madison is gone too. Only Strand and Alicia are left from the original cast.
He looked scared to me. He had probably already been threatened beforehand like I said in another thread below.
judging it based on human morality. It has ruthlessly killed several of your friends so you don't want to humanize it. Therefore you just call it a thing.
Totally agree about the Mandarin. Especially considering the hints they dropped in the first movie. Was Mickey Rourke meant to be Whiplash? If so then YES they botched that as well.
I saw the series during its first run but didn't get to see the original two movies until years later on the 4:30 Movie on Channel 7. Then I got to watch the series again on late night. Much to my mother's chagrin at staying up so late.
I know she's the target. My gut is telling me that there might be a plot twist and she turns out to also be a member of the gang
going to be re-released on DVD this fall for those who missed it before.
