Agreed. They just can't let it go and it's beyond sad with their constant whining. Now they have to inject their anger and sadness into films too. It's been about eight months now and it's time to move on. Hollywood really needs to get a serious grip here.
True. However, I was just pointing out the fact that Peter addressed her as "Aunt May" in the previous films...but addressed her differently this time around.
AGREED, AGREED, and AGREED!!
Marvel tried WAY too hard to be politically correct here. I wouldn't be surprised if the race baiting cop hater (Zendaya) had something to do with it too.
Why did Peter constantly refer to "Aunt May" as just "May" throughout the film as well? Last I knew, she was his Aunt. Or I am missing something here?
Zendaya was the worst part of the film, in my opinion. Her character was not only arrogant, but it was also clearly based off of her own real life activist identity, especially with her politically correct lines related to the Washington Monument and "slavery." Give me a break.
Thanks for all of your replies, everybody. Regardless of what I posted with my original thread, I can safely say that I very much enjoyed this film when I saw it last week. I went in thinking that it would be a repeat of the original "Batman vs. Superman" film (I'm referring to the theatre version over the "extended version" which you can get on Blu-Ray) but was pleasantly surprised in the direction of which this film was taken. There was plenty of action and the story itself kept me engaged and interested throughout the entire film. To top it all off, Gadot's performance, along with Pine, were pretty good too. On that note, it does not appear that DC is interested in a sequel at this time, but based off how much money they made, it would make more sense to me to at least try for one more film.
Decent choice, I suppose, but we all got to have a little fun sometimes! Hahahaha!!
Thanks for all of the replies, everybody. Your input has been lively and way more productive than what I ever could have imagined. On that note, I will withhold any and all further judgment until I see the film for myself. Lastly, I will report back with my own review of the film when that time comes as well.
Kathy and Rosie should share a cell together at the nearest mental hospital. They're both in dire need of one!
I agree!
Speaking of which, I also recently saw a clip of Kal Penn on Jimmy Kimmel's show where he mentioned that most of the cast and crew rely on him for advice or suggestions with the show. He also went on to add that the set is actually set up a little differently than the actual White House too (a lot of the rooms are out of order)....which actually had Kal getting lost at times while on set. LOL!
I'd say that Carrie Underwood has been the most successful, without a doubt. Kelly Clarkson comes in second, while Kat McPhee has struggled a little bit, in my opinion, at least in the music department. She has a great voice, but never seems to get as much recognition as the latter two women. Kat is great in the CBS drama "Scorpion" though. She's even dating her co-star Elyes Gabel too...although their relationship has been on and off. Speaking of which, it now appears that their characters on "Scorpion" have finally formed a relationship, which makes such a pairing as one of the most realistic moments currently on television.
First things first, Jim is doing a fine job with this website and everything appears to be running smoothly.
Secondly, I haven't had a problem with anyone. Looks like you just started up your account to cause trouble anyway considering the fact that you only have one post.
No problem! Glad to know that everything worked out for you. Please do not hesitate to PM me if you have any further questions or concerns! :)
I was stunned to learn that Kal Penn (Press Secretary Seth Wright) was once an active member of the Obama administration. I really like how he delivers his lines as Press Secretary. Even though I know that he's just acting here, it is my belief that he'd be great in such a role in real life!
I had good luck using tinypic.com for uploading my avatar.
Once you're there, click "Browse" and then locate your file (I saved mine to the desktop for easy access and convenience). After your file is located, click "Upload Now!" Before proceeding any further, the website should then ask you to "complete a graphic" so that it can confirm that "you aren't a robot." Many websites do this for security reasons.
Once you reach the "Share Your Image" page, be sure to highlight and then copy and paste the URL that is under "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards." Before uploading your avatar to this website, however, simply delete the word "[IMG]" from both sides of the URL.
From there, you should have a working avatar. Hope I helped you in any way! Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
No problem. Just thought I'd pass the info along to you.
Was Rosie O'Donnell there with him?
Hey Popcorn Kernel. I took Jim's advice and used the "tinypic" website to upload my avatar, which is a similar image that I once had on IMDb. Took me a few minutes to figure it all out, but if you want to upload an avatar, you'll have to use the URL field for message boards before uploading. I tried using the alternative field for "e-mail" but it will not work. Just thought that I would let you know.
Yeah sounds like he was only with the team temporarily until Walter and Paige got together, which I was glad to see! I have to say, though, that "Something Burrowed, Something Blew" was probably the best episode with Kevin Weisman (Ray) in it to date. He was hilarious! Happy and Toby's marriage was also great to see as well!
On that note, it will be interesting to find out where the writers will take this series from here on out.
Just saw this last night! Your site just keeps getting better, Jim! Thanks a lot! We deeply appreciate all that you are doing!
EDIT: Just uploaded my avatar now. For those of you that still might not know who I am...my avatar might help with that. When I was over on IMDb's message boards, I had a picture of Pierce Brosnan's (now destroyed) Aston Martin Vanquish that he used in "Die Another Day" as my avatar. He even got to keep it as a "gift" from the Bond producers after filming. However, it was unfortunately destroyed in a house fire that occurred at his home a little while back while it was in the garage. :( Everyone was fortunately okay, though.
