I misread it as SalmonJoes
I imagined Salmon Joes was probably a sea food restaurant or a brand of frozen salmon that Samoanjoes really liked or something.
G.I. Samoan Joes Rise of the Cobra
Instead of remaking Die Hard maybe they could instead re-adapt the original novel Die Hard was based on I.E. Nothing Lasts Forever by Roderick Thorpe.
That way they could remake Die Hard without…..remaking Die Hard.
I think this kid would disagree with you

My Mini Countryman is a steptronic and doesn’t have a D3 mode, BMW kept it simple: put it in D for forwards or R for reverse.
Although quite why there’s both ‘park’ and ‘neutral’ bewilders me: they both do the same thing so what’s the point?
I can’t see a single reason why anyone would want to use ‘N’, if you don’t want the car to roll away at lights or something then leave it in drive and put the handbrake on and the car will happily sit there till you’re ready to go again.
I experimented with cigars back when I was a smoker:
Mostly the small ones like Hamlets, Café Creme and Castellas, but I’ve had the proper sized ones like Romeo and Juliet.
I drink lattes and cappuccinos myself:
Out and about (at least before lockdown) I frequented Café Nero.
At home I have a Frachino Cherub espresso machine and a bean grinder so I can make the exact same thing you get in coffee shops made the same way at home to.
I used to drink Nescafe Alta Rica back in the days when I drank instant coffee: weirdly for someone who has lots of throffy milk and goes to all that trouble of making coffee with the machine and all that, when I drank instant putting milk in it always seemed like so much effort so I always drank it black because laziness.
I’d have to agree with The Simpsons.
Vicar of Dibley and Keeping up Appearances also come to mind.
Personally I’ve never understood the appeal of shows like Everybody Loves Raymond, never really got the appeal of Fraser either.
Both are equally bland and boring and the sort of shows Channel 4/E4 would use to fill airtime when most people are either going to work or sleeping.
Agreed

My-My-My was a popular dance record back in the day, but the original song it’s based on I think went by largely unnoticed and forgotten about.
Vera Lynn (103)
I second Clash of the Titans, one of my top 10 films to and the remake was appalling.
I think he’s a good actor but his movies are all a bit tainted for me because he’s a narcissistic ass hole who spends half his time with a violent sociopathic cult leader.
