People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
The important matter is that the truth of my subject title "Based on Reality" is being acted out by Trump's present policy.
I like what Steve Schmidt said today, "My fidelity is to my country, not my political party. Country first."
I think it's more important to focus on what's happening presently and take action to stop it especially while young innocent children and their parents suffer a Handmaid Tales nightmare.
There was only Jake Skywalker And Leia Poppins.
I just finished reading Heir to the Empire - the real sequel - which has Luke, Leia and Han together again with Lando and Ackbar. The book doesn't undo the OT, but continues the story. The characters are recognizable and still the same heroes we're familiar with even though circumstances have allowed them to grow. Luke is training Leia which I liked. I can't wait to begin reading the rest of the books.
Part of the Flores settlement was that the main attorney Peter Schey can go into any of the facilities where migrant children are being held to find out what the conditions are. As you know, Trump has forbidden anyone to see what is happening with babies and toddlers. We will soon find out why Trump is hiding these children.
Today Steve Schmidt, a GOP strategist who worked in the George W. Bush White House, a campaign manager for Arnold Schwarzenegger and ran John McCain’s campaign for president quit the Republican Party because of Trump's policy.
‘I won’t share a party label with people who think it’s all right to put babies in internment camps. My fidelity is to my country, not my political party. Country first.’
He denounced the Republican legislature branch for not doing their job as check and balances against the executive branch as the Founding Fathers had designed the Republic.
"He fears the party’s virtual annihilation in California, where registration rolls now show fewer Republicans than unaffiliated voters and many races are fought between two Democrats, is a foreboding warning for it nationwide."
I know of other high profile Republican who have also left the party and there are many politicians who have resigned because they know they will lose to a Democrat in November. I suggest you broaden your news sources so you have a more accurate idea of what is happening. Reuters, Associated Press, Wall Street Journal, BBC and The Economist to name a few provide well balanced news. Don't fear information.
He is encouraging people to vote Democratic like he will do in November.
I find it interesting that you believe children should be in internment camps or imprisoned indefinitely in cages or tents.

BTW, Today, Michael Cohen also resigned from the RNC because of Trump's policy.
Ironically, it's happening now!
Trump signed as executive order in order to take children away from their mothers and place the children - some are babies and toddlers - in internment camps.
Then they quoted the Bible. "'It's biblical to enforce the law.'"
Obviously, it is a Republican policy supported by most Republicans. It doesn't sound like fantasy to me unless one is in major denial to reality.
BTW, Nazi "Christians" separated children during the Holocaust and killed them. Christians have removed children from Native Americans in both the U.S. and Canada. And American "Christians" slavery separated children.
The Republicans are the party of placing toddlers in internment camps because of their hatred and bigotry. Most decent Americans will remember and vote in November.
Never say never. There are Republicans who hate the guy. Apparently they bad-mouth him off-the-record all the time. People like that are only looking for the first opportunity to get rid of him and they'd probably would be happier with Pence since he's more predictable.
I have the perfect solution for getting Trump off the board.
In November, vote Democrat! Ensure the Senate and Congress have a Democratic majority. Then when the criminal activities of Trump is finally released, he can quickly be impeached and hopefully go to prison where he will be forgotten. This will cause him to be a distant bad memory and rarely mentioned on moivechat.
Perhaps she doesn't want to be written out of daddy's will. One can never have too much money especially if it's a tax-free inheritance thanks to Trump and the Republicans changing the law.
"ignorance, hatred and bigotry"
Trump also believes in abusing children. Defend that too along with his some neo-Nazis "are fine people" remark.
Holocaust denial is a form of anti-Semitism which is why they do it. I agree that they do enjoy evil acts like genocide.
Decent people everywhere are concerned about abused children: Democrats, moderate Republicans and the world. The only ones who enjoy watching children abused are the sociopath Trump and his fringe followers: alt-right; neo-Nazis; KKK, fellow sociopaths and psychopaths.
Even the worst criminals in prisons have compassion for children and will beat the crap out of a prisoner who has abused one.
"Then why can't they fix their own country themselves?"
The irony is that several American policies created the problem by destabilizing the region.
"...The U.S. government supported the 2009 military coup in Honduras, and continues to support the illegal coup government there..."
"...The U.S. government has a history of standing on the wrong side in conflicts in the region, consistently supporting dictators over democratically elected officials. Too frequently, America intervened in favor of U.S. business interests to the detriment of Central American civil society..."
"...Gang violence, especially in El Salvador, has its roots in the United States. The maras, international criminal organizations that terrorize Central American communities, were exported back home from Los Angeles street gangs and metastasized in the chaotic wake of the civil wars the U.S. government stoked...."

Some of these migrants don't speak Spanish. They speak various indigenous languages. Spaniards (Europeans) also have a long history of raping indigenous women. Anyone with 20/20 vision can see very strong indigenous features in most of the migrants.
Once again, descendants of Europeans who had invaded and slaughtered them are telling Natives they don't belong here. Elitists and full of entitlement. What irony!
Is that an ISIL quote?
News of young children in cages and sleeping on the floor is on the news around the world.
Republican denials aren't working since the world sees the evil treatment of innocent children.
The irony is that they are Natives whereas those whining about walls are from Europe whose ancestors came here illegally without Native permission and stole the land.
I doubt it. Mark Hamill referred to himself as unemployed about the same time that Disney announced that Yoda will be in the next film. The point was to ruin and then kill-off all the original characters in order for the new ones to be accepted.
The only fan service will be Yoda. Another Disney SW movie I plan not to pay to see.
Obviously I'm correct about Trump praising neo-Nazis. Repeating meaningless words like "fake news" just proves you have drunk Trump's Kool-aid instead of thinking for yourself.
This discussion still belongs in the Trump forum - not Solo.
According to the linked report, most are fleeing El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras violence by gangs.
One mother left with her 16 year old daughter and 10 year old son because a gang said if her daughter didn't join, she would be raped then she and her family killed.
For those saying that the parents should think about their children before leaving, it's obvious that they are.
25,000 gangs in El Salvador alone with 500,000 members who are raping girls and murdering entire families. That's what these families are fleeing. Many of these gangs are targeting young girls.
Will committing state sponsored child abuse by separating young children from their parents deter them? I doubt it. Especially when the alternative is a murdered child or family.

The U.S. needs many more asylum workers at the ports instead of making asylum seekers camp out on lines for days. If they want them to use these locations then they need to be run properly which they are not. Workers have also been filmed denying them asylum which is illegal. They are supposed to be allowed entry in order to be processed and have their case heard.
