Natalie Portman's abs have held up well but that's about it. Amy Adams in Doubt Kate Hudson in Almost Famous Anne Bancroft in The Graduate Peter O'Toole in Lawrence of Arabia Marlon Brando in A Streetcar Named Desire Radiohead The Beatles The Rolling Stones The Kinks Blur Queen Sonic Youth Ramones Dinosaur Jr. The Zombies T Rex The Velvet Underground Always looks good but Charlie Wilson's War was something else, noticed her right then when it was out. One time in college in 2010 when I got locked out of my dorm without my cell phone. I thought the main actress as the teacher was terrific. In such control of her face and body language, you could see the tension building throughout the movie. She's obviously very talented. My no. 2 performance of the year besides Portman. There were FIVE battle scenes man. Not sure how much more you wanted without it turning into a b movie action scene. I'd rather watch his interpersonal dynamics than hours of uniformed guys marching around in formation shooting each other. I'd say they about covered it, his first becoming a war hero (Toulon), his peak (Austerlitz), and then the downfall (Russia and Waterloo). Ringo and George movies would be more interesting if it was about their solo careers in the 70's. Not sure if this will cover that though. Moore was good at what he did but I prefer Dalton's broodier and more cold blooded approach so I will go with him. Yes I do. Hamlet might be the best piece of dramatic writing in the English language. None of the things in the OP are a problem. Do you think women don't do the exact same thing with men? Or even other women in the case of lesbians? Sexuality is not a pathology. People are such prudes now days. Forget if I saw Dirty Harry or TGTBATU first Second trailer- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AULR_GPteNQ 1. Natalie Portman 2. Saoirse Ronan 3. Olivia Dunne (the gymnast) 4. Lindsay Ellingson (the former Victoria's Secret model, still looks great on her Instagram) 5. Taylor Hill Roman Holiday, Rushmore, Licorice Pizza, Phantom Thread A bit corny but if they want to do it fine. No, it's just a good character drama Which is still perfectly fine because Padme was super hot! Annie Hall is still better than Star Wars Anyway, for things that didn't win- Kubrick for best director for 2001, The Graduate for Best Picture, Citizen Kane for Best Picture, Anne Bancroft for playing Mrs. Robinson, and Amy Adams in Doubt For things that didn't get nominated- 2001 for Best Picture, Malcolm McDowell in A Clockwork Orange, Martin Sheen in Apocalypse Now, United 93 for Best Picture, A Few Good Men for best screenplay I like Under the Skin and Room. A lot of their surrealist horror stuff just comes off like faux Lynchian try hard crap. Looking forward to Love Lies Bleeding though.
