I was wondering the same thing after episode 8. I was trying to think if there were ANY straight characters in the whole show and the only one i could think of was Meadow but she was an idiot and she's dead.
I am in no way homophobic, the gay stuff does not bother me but statistically it's kind of fantasy world to make every single character gay or at least bi. Even that TV producer guy I assumed was straight because he was sexually harassing Emma Roberts, but he had a male gimp sex slave in his attic!
Most of the people that hate Lena Dunham, hate her because she's a feminist. You know the usual broflakes and MRA who call everyone a fat ugly SJW and just automatically hate any feminist.
But then even if I am female and liberal, I can still not like her for other reasons but I don't like to get lumped in with that other icky group that hates her. If that makes sense?
He acknowledged it today and apologized.
That is a refreshing change from "I blame god for all my problems and I'm gonna punch him out next time I see him".
We are so used to tantrums and denial, it is nice to see a man be a man. It still doesn't excuse the actions, but at least he's not acting like a child.
Frances Conroy always steals the show, every season. I love Lily Rabe too, I miss her.
Any final words?
BALENCIAGA!
Looks like next week he tries to make them drink poison koolaid like Jim Jones. They are trying to bundle all the cult leaders into one cult. Manson, Jim Jones, David Koresh. Next he will make all the women wear baggy blue denim jumpers like Warren Jeffs! He doesn't have enough female members though to have polygamy with multiple wives for each man, so maybe he will do a twist with multiple husbands for each wife and then all the brother-husbands can screw eachother too. Because it's just not gay enough yet.
What part made you think that?
I can't really hate someone for something they did when they were 7 years old, a child that age can do great harm (can even kill) but is not mentally developed enough to bear moral responsibility the same way an adult or even a teen does.
But yes it is still creepy and she is just problematic to me in many ways.
Even the hubris of writing an autobiography when you are that young and have so few accomplishments. Problematic!
Thanks.
All of these death-obsessed posts lately really seem like they come from someone who has never dealt with real death or real suicidal thoughts. Like the only experience they have with those concepts is from movies or comic books.
If people are just having fun and shooting the breeze, I guess enjoy yourself. I hate to be the bucket of cold water, but this bears no resemblance to real life and real death.
Do your bucket list while you are still young and full of life. Don't wait until you are dying, because you won't be able to do much of anything then.
That is a problem with child actors- they have this nasty habit of growing up in real time!
I kind of thought those scenes with the aged rick and the 6 year old Judith were more like fantasies. ' Fear The Walking Dead' also had Madison's fantasy of a future with everyone gathering for Christmas Dinner. These scenes are not guarantees that everyone we see in them survives that long. They are like wistful dreams of a peaceful future where they don't have to fight and struggle. It's a dream, not reality. For one thing, that many years in the future , all the batteries made pre-apocalypse would be dead so how would they be playing music? All the gasoline would be used up or gone bad (gas does not last forever) so they wouldn't have generators either.
If those scenes were real, then they would remove all suspense about who lives and who dies. We would never have to worry about those people again. I expect a few people shown in those 'flash forwards' do not actually live that long.
I agree with everything you said!
I was also wondering how much time had elapsed between seasons. Why would Negan wait weeks before making a move? By all logic, thos season should have started immediately after the S7 finale, or at least the next day. But Rick and Michonne are both fully healed from their S7 injuries.
And how is Maggie STILL not even showing a bump? Total BS!
I was asking the exact same thing! Why didn't they just shoot Negan, instead of all the talk talk talk when he was on the balcony? They had a clear shot many times, Negan and Gregory and all the other lieutenants. Instead they talk until everyone is bored, ( they KNEW that none of the Saviours would take the stupid deal so what was even the point?) then Rick shoots a goddamn machine gun over their heads and he does not hit a single person. FFS. 50 rounds a second and he misses EVERY target. Is he blind?
And then they just waste a fuckton of ammo shooting out windows. What is the damn point?
I actually was mad at this episode.
Why didn't they shoot Negan?
Why did Gabriel try to save Gregory? He's a piece of shit. let him die!
Normally if you only have 1 month to live, that means you are very ill and probably not strong enough to do all the stereotypical bucket list stuff. That last month is likely to be spent heavily medicated in a hospice situation. not "having fun".
People don't just go from perfect health to dead in a month, unless it is something unexpected like a car accident, and then they wouldn't know in advance that they only had one month to live.
But this is a realistic answer and not the comic book fantasy that you have in mind.
If you are talking about suicide, then even that is an unrealistic scenario. First of all why wait a month? If you are in enough pain to really want to die, then you would not want to wait a month. If you can still 'have fun', if you still enjoy things like travel and debauchery, then you're not suicidal. If someone is depressed enough to kill themself, they no longer enjoy any of their formerly favorite things. They aren't having 'fun'. If can still enjoy those things and can still have fun, then you might as well live.
sorry your teens were so boring.
Gender doesn't matter in many states. It's already legal.
I think my favorite bong I have used was the 'Suspendabong' that my high school friend had in his room. It was attached to a pulley with a jug of water on the other end as a counterweight, so it could be pulled down to use and then raised up to the ceiling out of the way when not in use.
He also had an oxygen mask he could attach to it so you could inhale with your nose and mouth together.
43 meters is 141 feet. As tall as a ten story building.
Yes, I have worked at 2 different companies founded by the same boss.
The government is involved because marriage has certain legal rights. It makes the spouse the next of kin. It relates to how the couple is taxed. It involves the legal name and legal status of any children. All of these are legal/civil matters, not religious matters.
Religious marriage is completely separate from civil marriage.
Yes.
In my state it already is legal.
I do correct them each time. Not angrily, just simple and straightforwardly. My first name is super common but my last name seems to throw people for a loop, even though it is a short, one-syllable English word. Like it is an actual word, but not usually a surname, so people often insert extra letters or pronounce a totally different name from what is written. I don't know why, just say it like it is spelled!
