No, because idiot producers would want to cater to all demographics so the movie would be a bland 90 minute pg13 movie.
The casting would be reversed so they wouldn't want to show a black man as being bad. So they'd have an old white cop as the corrupt grizzled veteran and a young buck black man as the hero good cop. He may even be a gay transgender too. Just to appease a wider audience.
They wouldn't want to offend Russians so it'll just be a group of white people after Alonso's character.

The first one was better than the second one.
Only flaw in the first one is Emily Blunt's character is so annoying and unrealistic in her pure stupidity and mindset that you'll wish death on the character.
