Whoa… hard-hitting stuff we’re seeing in MovieChan! The broflake majority up here definitely isn’t hearing and saying enough of this.
But I know broke B, you’re kkkewl self is too used to people constantly reminding telling you that you’re at a Wendy’s (and other fast food establishments). Yet, while said people who remind you obviously don’t care about the alternative facts and overall nonsense you’re spewing, it goes without saying you deeply care about everything that inconveniences your fragile broke ass and ya lose your mind over it. Well it’s all hilarious in the end cuz no matter how much you and your fellow chuds keep screaming about the woke boogeyman ad nauseam, clearly big bad wokey Hollywood and non-magat society doesn’t care about your crying (they just keep making things more anti-anti-woke). Sorry not, BROKEflake chuds
Easiest answer is — they simply didn’t want to make this final film (for now anyway) a full showdown between Michael & Laurie. I suppose they felt… [i]that’s been done before. [/i] I get that, but the problem is that’s basically what they set up with Kills and you know that’s what audiences expected and wanted all along.
Now while I’m all for subverting expectations and doing something fresh, the direction they ultimately took didn’t do the two faces of this franchise total justice. I do think the whole Corey thing was interesting in its own right, however it would have worked better for a spin-off film or something — like a real Season of the Witch type deal. Instead, with Ends they made The Shape take a backseat in his own film and neither he nor Laurie were the real central figures in this installment (talk about misleading trailers). And yes, it was hard to buy that Laurie had move on rather quickly after what happened in the previous film. It just all felt… off. I didn’t exactly disliked Ends overall (I enjoyed it for the most part despite my disappointment with the focus on a new character), but it definitely didn’t feel like a proper and satisfying conclusion. On that note, this installment made me appreciate Kills even more (which I’ve always been fond of).
Lol, they’re definitely gonna “depart” with a respected (not by certain detractors online) actor who’s been with them for a decade to simply appease those like you. Nah.
But gee…. this kinda stuff is only what a bunch of “disapproving” bros have been saying about a number of Marvel actors (Marvel and reactionary-triggering Hollywood in general) in recent years. [i]Why him? Why she? Why keep doing things that inconveniences us tRuE FaNs who hate many things?[/i]

So yes, this chud-hated actor is a great talent and, like many in the industry today, he triggers the people he should. Marvel fan all your life? Now whether this movie makes big money or not, at the end of the day those behind Black Adam and this entire franchise (not even a fan of it myself) will keep swimming in money and working in this wokey dokey industry that keeps Broflake hos up at night. Like the next inevitable installment will be? ;) Or like H20 was 24 years ago according to many? Or hell, like the very first sequel was in the eyes of some?

Though a horror franchise with many unnecessary sequels, reboots, etc. cuz the movies make money and stuff. Unheard of! Anyway, happy miserable viewing (or just ranting) usual [i] disapproving[/i] ones.

But yea, they didn’t make it YOUR (and all angry bros up here) way? Famous faces are a big No No? And no talented people left in ’murica to make it how it “should” be made? Then make your own damn Pinocchio film; do it your kewl, faithful and superior way. (Or pray for one, idk.) This adaption has its issues, but clearly for *some* the overall execution isn’t the real issue. Anyway, sanctimonious film overlord blasting a harmless movie like this tho… how stereotypically MovieChan (apart from the usual bs that comes from the reactionaries). Stay whining.

The way you feel about the original (you can bet many on this hating site are with you on this overall), many evidently feel the exact opposite. What they be smoking? Idk, but it seems to bring folks joy and I say good for them. The audacity.
Btw, the title of most overrated goes to… some cheesy ass 80’s comedy (not including some oh-so-badass action flicks that are unintentionally hilarious as hell and actually taken super seriously by apparently hardcore old bros), or some beloved hokey rom-com (think of your Annie Halls and Love Actuallys), or a dated and not-so-hardcore Mel Brooks flick. *gasps* Or simply, other popular comedies that aren’t Clerks (Clerks earned its reputation). ;)
Nah? Well, I know full well how the ultra gatekeepers are against him coming to the [i]real[/i] MCU cuz apparently he’ll never be done justice here like he was by other Disney-owned companies in the (far-from-flawless) Netflix-verse. Side note: lucky for ya Feige wasn’t allowed to use the character in the MCU by Marvel Entertainment execs a decade ago otherwise we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
Now “questionable” lightheartedness aside, the writing is what will ultimately make or break it for you, right? Fair, I guess. Although given that the show’s writing to you, and to some critics not screaming the tired buzzwords a la Reich wing and claiming “Disney is anti-white bro!” (this site in a nutshell), has been poor… well then there’s a very good chance the character will be RUINED for you in this. For good tho? That’ll be your problem, pal. But chill, E. After all this is only gonna be, at least for now, 1 appearance in this series. (Damn right I wish it was more than that, he looks marvelous AF in the trailers.)
Let the tortured soul actually be his non-dark self and have some fun…. like in numerous DD stories… before his old friend darkness comes back to consume him even if it might not be completely. Now I loved the once-Netflix show myself, but he’s more than that iteration. He is now in the MCU and will FINALLY interact with major Marvel characters he’s only ever interacted with in non-live action and, oh yeah, fourth wall breaking She-Hulk will be one of them! It’s been a long time coming. With all that said, I’m positive they’ll stay true to the character in She-Hulk. Still worried about his future in the MCU? K, well if the folks behind this franchise do rUiN him (for you, for undoubtably biased angry voices, and for some open-minded but genuinely concerned fans), the old show that to many of its fans will never be match (let alone surpassed) no matter what will always be there. But a different creative team doing different things with an established character they are now handling? Just like the comics, bro. It should be done regardless. (Shhh: unkewl me believes there can be improvements made from the Netflix-verse. *gasps*)

But oh my… this hasn’t been said enough ever since this was “shockingly” confirmed by the “lesser” talents handling this show. I tell ya tho, this is the place to ask a question like this. Yup, no biased angry voices here! ;)
Oh excusa.. yes. If you believe this legendary character will be ruined, then he indeed will be. :) He’s done for! He’ll never recover from yet another dark-less, fun and perhaps carefree appearance added to his Marvel history. What, this particular version of DD played by Charlie Cox that many (far from all) have come to know will be ruined? Well, that’s certainly according to many gatekeepers who believe Daredevil has only shown 1 side of himself in the comics and obvs the ultra gritty once-Netflix show (which actually wasn’t made by Netflix contrary to popular belief) that supposedly never showed Matt cracking jokes and having a good time with anyone. (Spoiler: he did in fact show his lighter, happier side there.)
Well fact is, good ol’ Devil of Hell’s Kitchen has always had a lighter side. Comics? Even in his grittier stories he’s been a fairly sarcastic and humorous guy — moreso than he was in the Netflix-verse. He ain’t all doom and gloom, if you will. And him appearing in a META comedy series like She-Hulk? What did y’all expect? Total dark & brooding Matt? It’s pretty evident more serious characters we’ve seen in the franchise before are going to show their, yes, lighter+funnier side in this series. As such, rather than “making” Daredevil lighter, they’re gonna show him in a less gritty environment and that will be, um, appropriate. Fr, how seriously can he actually be taken if he pops up in this and acts the way he did when he went up against Kingpin in the old series? The show AND audiences wouldn’t be able to take him seriously THEN. Deadpool: I’m Batman>>>>>
