False advertising perhaps (the 24hr thing). Or, the sign is possibly just for show... an inside joke maybe. No https://media3.giphy.com/media/JOWjrrUkPwo7VZeZdK/giphy.gif *Impressed face forms* Well how about that https://external-preview.redd.it/hVM4jTiN-R6h0Usl3I5YZXwfq2pzW3-9IjtuutOXiEM.png?auto=webp&s=0f8c1a6e37eef9635cbe5d5f38c20bb59390d68a Oh these inbred chuds Most certainly. And truthfully, that is exactly the kind of praise Leigh Whannell, or any thriller and horror director for that matter, would love to hear (and this film certainly deserves the high praise it’s gotten). The Invisible Man is such an effectively-made and tension-filled ride, an overall excellent film. They put the C in Cinematic, no question. More than a decade later and the big M has remained in a league of its own league. Exceeded all expectations time after time, and now that the universe is going to expand like never before, prepare for some more “surprising” dominance from Marvel! Like them or not, their impact in cinema has been unprecedented and just staggering (and naturally, there’s going to be salty detractors.... both angry online nerds and angry nerdy purists in the industry... bitching about this acclaimed and mighty franchise). But lol the detractors (film snobs, boomers & xoomers, and of course lifeless anti-MCU trolls you see pop up on these boards every now and then to troll nonstop like these “lovely” individuals up here)... oh, the detractors. I’m happy to report that their bitching isn’t going to stop anytime soon cuz Marvel ain’t going nowhere XD Perturbator Daniel Deluxe Justice Mitch Murder Scandroid FM Attack Miami Nights 1984 There’s a lot of this stuff out there. Good stuff it is ;] And yeah, Drive’s soundtrack is killer! Kavinsky’s track in particular is fire Au contraire... I thought the effect looked more than fine myself; nothing about Leo’s head looked unnatural as far as I could tell. Leo was basically inserted into the Great Escape shot, and while you can argue that it wasn’t perfecto, I’m certain the sequence turned out the exact way QT intended to. I’m all for a supernatural team, especially one like that! As for another potential team, perhaps The Illuminati. The thought of seeing this happen is just too cool. And though it seems a tad unrealistic, I frankly wouldn’t rule it out (they can change the line-up a bit). Well, in the end she didn’t let them keep the house, and if you ask me it’s obvious she was no longer going to seriously consider that. You know what I have to say about say? Good for Marta! :> MAYBE she could/should have let two or three of the family members stay (definitely not the masturbating alt reich nazi child, lol), but if you ask me she dodged a bullet with virtually all of them. Whilst Meg did seem like a good person, it would be difficult to fully trust her given that she could still be influenced by her greedy family; Meg’s mom could’ve easily turned her against Marta. Bottom line - whether she herself deserved the house or not, in my view Marta had no good reason to leave the house to that family. Nana could be the only exception. And come on, ya gotta get on a Michael Shannon kick (top-notch actor). FREEEEEEDOM!!!! For what it’s worth anyway. Live in blissful ignorance by deciding to stay in a simulated world.... where you’re basically disposable and can be killed by an Agent... or wake up in an unpleasant, albeit real world where you’re no longer (relatively speaking) a complete slave? Hmm... tough choice. ;} You won’t be chilling in paradise either way! But the Cyphers of the world are with ya. Well this is disappointing. But unlike YOU, the supposedly very confident and intellectual one, I 100% saw this coming cuz I actually live in reality... https://variety.com/2020/film/box-office/black-widow-release-coronavirus-1203532996/ What up now, biaaaatch?! XD Now petty (albeit justifiable) boasting aside, at the end of the day this absolutely sucks. But next time, try to be smarter with your predictions and, frankly, shading. You got that, W? Nah, u too stupid for that *mic drop* For sure. Whilst I was looking forward to S3, it wasn’t until after that trailer dropped that this immediately became a must-see for me! Really dug the first episode and I can’t wait to see what comes next. We shall see. Ooooh. Stupid says the “I’m 100% confident in saying it’ll keep its release date” guy. I repeat... 100%! LOL. Priceless stuff. But no, winston. I’m actually being realistic. There’s the difference between you and me. And when you’re proven wrong, YOUR stupidity will show. Though I know you won’t eat your words cuz you ain’t smart or MAN enough to do that; now if I’M proven wrong, unlike your wishful thinking StOOpiD self, I’ll have the courage to admit I was wrong. Hell, I’ll be happy about it! But yeah, people be delusional these days (especially when shit like this goes down), and you’re a prime example of that. If you’re hoping to see it on May 1st on the big screen, then have fun in an empty theater! (If you can even get it, that is.) Catch ya later, W. Yeah, that part was only used in the trailer - nowhere to be seen in the actual film. While it’s arguable if the film needed it, I think it was a great moment. That’s a multiverse I wouldn’t want to live in, I’ll tell you that much. ;) But I am certain of this: the MCU and comic cinema detractors (like the ones you see around this place) would live in a world where they would have to blame other types of acclaimed popular films over the “fact” that the “real” films they want to see supposedly don’t get made and/or dominate the cinematic landscape (“back in my day!”). Yes -- the way you see said detractors constantly whine about the mighty MCU (modern cinema in general) is exactly how they would whine about other modern tentpole films in an MCU-free world. Sad but very much accurate, lol. Well boomers/elitists/film snobs/detractors etc., this prestigious, gigantic and undoubtedly influential franchise luckily exists and it ain’t going anywhere anytime soon. Thank goodness for Iron Man, RDJ, Jon Favreau, and of course Kevin Feige! #dealwithit Well, Regal Cinemas just announced that they’re closing ALL their locations. They’ll be closed until further notice. While I hope the likes of AMC remain open, realistically it could only be a matter of time before all movie theaters in the U.S. shut down. Everything’s shutting down! On that note, the chances of Black Widow keeping its releasing date are really not looking great. It’s apparent that Marvel & Disney want to keep BW’s release date (before the news of Regal Cinemas dropped, I still thought there was a 50/50 chance that Black Widow was going to keep its release date), however right now it looks like they won’t have any other choice but to delay the film. I mean if there’s no movie theaters to show it in, then what else can they do? Stream it? No thanks. So idk... unless things start to improve by next month and Disney keeps their options open till then, then I doubt Black Widow is going to hit the big screen on May 1st. And though not impossible, I don’t think Disney is going to follow Universal and release their movies on demand... it’s not gonna be beneficial for them and Disney doesn’t play like that. But anything can happen. Slice of life films is what they call many of those seemingly plotless films like Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time. And they’re by no means a new “hack” thing — they’ve been around since ‘em olden days. But plotless or not, the story Once Upon a Time in Hollywood tells is fascinating/engaging in its own right. And... OUATIH> Hail Caesar (I am a bit fond of the latter, though I wouldn’t say that QT’s film is identical to it)
