Why yes. The bigwig in this case be me, of course! ;) But lately the booze has *mostly* been for show.
(Nah)
And this is the reason (one of them anyway) why movies are way more fun to experience than real life. Most of the time.
Lawyer brings the facts to a
whodunit.... zzzz.
Yah
Sweet show.
The real Scooby gang would have put the monsters in this film (including the ancient ones) in their place. Easily! :D
But yeah, the likeness is definitely there. Lol
Yea... this is the same guy who when he finally got the chance to have sex with a hot blonde he was lusting after for an entire SEASON (season 4)... he immediately lost all interest in her when he noticed that she had a picture of George W. Bush in her dressing room. That time he was also THAT close to doing the deed with her, and then Larry called the whole thing off once he discovered that she was a republican, lol.
And remember how Jeff reacted when Larry told him about that? He went off on Larry and said that he would screw her even if she had a Bush mask on! XD Larry, on the other hand, has standards. :D While in retrospect I can’t say I blame Larry for that one tbh, I’m sure I speak for most guys (regardless of what their beliefs are) when I say it would have been extremely hard to turn down sex with Cady in that moment. And that’s the thing — Larry isn’t most guys. Or, people in general.
So Larry foolishly ruining his chance to have sex with the babe with the magical vagina? That’s 100% Larry! I mean I saw that coming from a mile away. To me this was not at all out of character for him; there are many examples of Larry ruining a good thing over something that would be considered to be trivial by most. And no, this season has been pretty (x3) good so far. Much better than the last one. You’re free to bail.
This be the “super original” OP and he is... wait for it... https://i.redd.it/7dr8nesa2fz01.jpg
Ain’t that reich? Altreich XD
Hehehe.... Disney continuing to trigger the F out of snowflake reactionaries (literal nazis in many cases as you can see here). Keep doing your thing, Disney & Hollywood! Them salty reich wing tears just keep coming. Mmm! ;)
Agreed. It’s a fun ride. There’s no denying the film has it issues. I can’t say that I was let down by it, though. I don’t often let poor movie reviews deter me from going to go see a film, albeit even I was expecting the worst when it came to Venom. Fortunately... I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised by it myself! I loved it.
Hardy was fantastic as always (some don’t think so, but as a big fan I have to say that this is absolutely one of my favorite performances from him — he’s the main reason the film works imo), and the action, humor, and the effects were well-done. Moreover, Michelle Williams in it was a big plus. While I understand why some felt that she phoned it in, I think that she started to shine once she came to face to face Venom. To me, she ended up having fun with the role and that’s what I really wanted to see from her.
So, as flawed as this film may be, it’s not without its merits. It’s fun, well-acted, somewhat moody, and pretty charming. (Not to mention this Venom puts the last live-action Venom to total shame.) In terms of staying faithful to the source material, I can take or leave. I mean, I unquestionably wanted Spidey to be involve in a Venom origin film (duh), but I don’t need every comic adaption to stay 100% faithful to the comics. A good film that stays true to the spirit of the character is more than fine by me! (The MCU doing its own thing and not repeating what we’ve already seen in previous films... yet still doing the characters justice... has worked out perfectly for them.) As such, can’t wait for the sequel! I feel confident it’ll be a big improvement over this one.
I highly doubt she’s going to end up playing her (well you never know). While to many it would make sense to cast her in the role due to her physical appearance, I don’t think she quite has the acting chops to pull off the role. Getting the right actress for the role is all that matters.
It’s nice, deny that I can’t (for now). But behind that smile... lies a very dark soul. Lol, no kidding — it appears she’s one of those crazed conspiratorial reactionaries (certain maga chuds be proud). Yup, she’s giving off very strong bootlicking karen vibes, so u know what means? The Hollywood-obsessed reich wing might have one of their own in this industry that they hate-love appearing in high-profile projects. And not just any big projects, but she’s currently appearing in a big show from the studio that all reactionaries detest. On that end, it won’t be any surprise whatsoever if she goes even more full-on propagandist trumpanzee with her “courageous” posts (that’ll give the reich wing vermin’s such hard-ons) and she rightfully gets her ass thrown out. “Waaa cancel culture! It’s destroying our fascist-friendly celebs! The only good ones in Hollywood who hate bs representation and that other woke crap! Not fair!” Ugh..
Update in late 2020: yep... and if it wasn’t obvious before, she’s 100% part of the rotten alternate reality-living maga klan (reich wingers who throw temper tantrums 24/7 over non-regressive Hollywood rejoice!). 1 word: yuck! Political differences my ass... she’s a garbage person like many reich wingers who share her hateful and asinine views. Now her fellow magababies are gonna be all over this response and the posts dedicated to her “brave”, “rebellious truth-telling” and clear fascism. Well, I tell ya what, chuds. Like Karen Carano, keep crying about the “stolen election” (the Fuhrer was setting this up all year long in case his fascist ass lost) and how oppressed wearing masks makes your reich wing privileged selves feel, ya fake news-loving magababies. None of your sad cultist propaganda is going to keep Donny Chump and his goons in office and continue to flex his fascism.

100%
Her ever-changing looks as Natasha Romanoff — amazing. She looks as good as ever in Black Widow.
I think it’s quite obvious that he could relate to Elsa... He, too, had to hide who he was. As such, he was being sympathetic at that moment (knowing where he was coming from I don’t think his intentions were truly evil) and it was certainly believable.
Great character, great performance by Rockwell.
I’m in complete and total agreement. This delightful sequence is marvelously executed and just impressive on every level. It’s so great for various reasons. And I will no doubt say that it remains one of the best scenes in the entire MCU (or hell, in any WWII film). Super underrated.
How great was Evans btw? The man absolutely nailed it! (Pftt that recent hate thread.)
How about.... neither. Darn, that’s not the appropriately edgy thing to state online. Granted QOS & Spectre were underwhelming, albeit they were nonetheless FAR from the franchise’s worst. I mean as much as hardcore Bond fans dislike them, at the end of the day these two so-so installments were better received than other mediocre installments in the franchise were in general (that’s including most of the Brosnan films). Frankly, Spectre’s direction is still easily some of the best in the franchise.
Casino Royale & Skyfall? There may be “a few” out there (mostly Bond purists) that’ll dismiss Skyfall, but along with Casino Royale it was a critically acclaimed film that was massively popular with audiences. GREAT films. And you know what, as unremarkable as QOS & Spectre were, it’s no question that the other two top-tier 007 films Craig starred in (also depending on how No Time To Die turns out - looks amazing) will ultimately be what most people will remember Craig’s Bond for.
Bad as Bond? Yea, that is mostly according to the oh-so-naysaying critics on the internet (a lot of boomers/xoomers make up those naysayers) who I’m glad to say don’t represent the majority. A Bond of this century needed a makeover, if you will. Some say he’s been too Jason Bourne-like (unimaginative criticism), I say they rightfully made him more savage than ever as well as HUMAN. So Craig’s incredibly intense and rugged, yet still super suave Bond > all.
This post in a nutshell: blah blah blah.
In other words: just your typical movie hate thread. Ok booma.
But lol, Verhoeven’s flick. Though I’ve always liked it, the only thing that holds up in it is Bacon’s performance. Whannell’s far more suspenseful, moodier and better executed (actually and rightfully critically acclaimed) film> the entertaining but super flawed (and fairly cheesy) Verhoeven flick.
Both. That’s right. But it’s mostly the former, ‘far as I’m concerned (Rian detractors in particular disagree with that... oooh).
I have spoken.
Him singing that song was absolutely priceless! For me, it’s one of Daniel Craig’s greatest moments. :D
Looking forward to seeing more of him as Blanc.
That source though...

Good enough!!!
How dare it be better than what many were expecting.
Hmm. Well, that is pretty DAMN cool. Satan is much cooler than that overly judgmental and hate-filled guy (who’s worshipped by even more judgmental and hate-filled people) anyway. ;)
Some Disney detractors might see my boy Iger’s departure as a sign of hope (LOL)... but methinks Disney isn’t going to stop dominating and making detractors whine. Oh no. I do see the House of Mouse continuing to make said detractors whine for years to come. Hail D!
Muahahahaha...
It would only make sense, really. Good.
