This post - well done! No joke.
I didn’t take the movie quite that seriously but you do make some valid points. (It’s still good fun.) And besides, compared to the ENDLESS amount of idiotic “this movie is anti-white sjw woke pc blah blah” posts you see from the “edgy” and “disenfranchised” (really projecting snowflakes) reactionary chuds all over this site and the internet in general, posts that CLEARLY triggered the salty and paranoid anti-human decency reactionary chuds who deeply wish Hollywood would go back to them “good ol’ days” so their regressive butts can be cheerful and calm (hahaha) are much appreciated. ;)
And yea... the EXCELLENT, visceral, and very well-liked Rogue One and also The Force Awakens (“Waaa! So unoriginal! We want something new and unpredictable!” Or so they said...) > Return of the Jedi and all the awful prequels that failed miserably despite the fact that unlike the new trilogy they (Lucas) supposedly knew what direction they wanted to take the prequels in since the beginning.

The exact opposite I feel. Pitt, Clooney and McDormand are the main reasons I come back to this film (but mainly Pitt).

Of course it is. Saw it when it came out (after the big screen, it was on the relatively new format that was blu-ray, hehe) and I couldn’t have been more pleased with it. Gets better every time.
In total agreement I am. This film is easily one of Fincher’s greatest (arguably his most underrated). In fact, it’s one of his few films that took me only a single viewing for me to declare it a masterwork. Top-tier direction, captivating performances, chilling atmosphere, and just great on every level.
Two words: hell yeah! It might be worth it if it’ll be the best one could ever have, you know.
But jokes aside... F no! I wouldn’t even smash and dash. XD
On second thought... if I knew exactly what I was getting into, then I would tag along and prepare to get medieval on her family’s ass. A hero I be! :)

It was a FANTASTIC return. It’s like the cast never left, the episode couldn’t have been more satisfying if I do say so myself.
And lol the critically unoriginal cons (who didn't see that one coming).
It certainly won’t be happening anytime soon with or without Jolie. I mean, Sony first announced plans for a sequel back in like 2012, man! Not a peep since, as far as I know. And though one should never definitively say never (I mean Zombieland got a sequel a decade later), I doubt it ever will happen.
Now IF they ever do revisit this property, then I can see them making a series or straight to vod movie with another actress or actor in the role, UNLESS there’s any chance Jolie herself agrees to return for a proper sequel. I would love to see Jolie in this role again (she owned this role), but it’s hard to see it happening with her again.
And as predictable as anything on the internet can be, the lifeless propagandist reich wing trolls (the actual biggest snowflakes in existence and many who are literal nazis) that miss them good ol’ pro-exclusion days are back here - and other boards like that of a certain Star Wars actress - to whine and spew shyt as they loudly do best (4chan sending out their ‘best’ alt-reich). Pftt, as if they ever really went away.

Perhaps in a parallel universe where action isn’t the main/only thing this movie is completely committed to delivering (and oh does it deliver the action). Come from said parallel universe, do you? Nah, just troll.
It’s fair to say not many people realize he can be funny. While his roles in “Crazy, Stupid, Love” & “La La Land” were lighthearted and humorous (and they were refreshing roles for him), they were [i]nothing[/i] like his wild performance in The Nice Guys. What he did in The Nice Guys was basically Ryan Gosling as we’ve never seen him before! His performance as Holland March was highly energetic, hilarious, and just original. Though the guy has been giving top-notch performances in dramatic films for years (that’s how he made a name for himself), I would definitely love to see the funnier side of Gosling some more. (More people need to take notice of this side of him.)

Ever since Rogue Nation that’s precisely what I’ve thought. And me *possibly” being the only one who thought so is also what I thought, lol.
Here’s the thing though - while I see a resemblance between Michelle Monaghan and Rebecca Ferguson in general, I wouldn’t go as far as to say that it’s uncanny. But for some reason, in the Mission Impossible films they’re [i]almost[/i] inseparable to me in terms of looks.
The character of Lucy herself as awesomely portrayed by Ms. Johansson? 100%! She kicked major ass.
The film overall? It held my interest more than most Besson movies (not including Leon), I’ll say that. Fun
