WHY SO... humorous? Lol this guy That futuristic-looking synth? Beyond cool. It’s real and it’s called a Seaboard Grand. As for Gosling playing them, he apparently did. I concur. It is a fantastic film! Well-crafted and endearing AF. ;) Detractors be damned. Nope. Not one bit. Naysayers (like this one spamming up the join right now) gonna naysay. It is a cool design/effect. And seeing as how they shot some scenes at that location, it makes sense that they used this particular shot for the poster. ^Agree with this. That entire sequence is wicked. So intense and well-executed. I want to say it’s THE favorite, but there are a bunch of great ones that are so effective. Although this hotel scene is one of a kind. Regardless of his character’s age, it was great to see him in this film. He was superb. Unless this was meant to be a, you know, joke (in other words, trolling), then clearly the OP is one of the very few people in the world that feels this positive about Bay’s Pearl Harbor. Lmao. If OP got something out of Bay’s movie, then good for them. But a superior film to Fury? Lol. Fury is far and away better than that glorified soap opera.
... might as well list all comic book movies
If this was 2007 maybe. Only top 3? Well, that says it all. But you better believe there have been way more than 20 comic films made since the mid-2000’s, and a lot of them have indeed been high-quality. In truth, there are no less than 60 CBM’s out there. Too much? Nope. For sure film snobs/the elite will continue to have issues (to put it mildly) with the popularity and existence of these films and shall constantly moan about them (though some snobs can feel comfortable liking those like the “groundbreaking” likes of Joker cuz it’s non-fantastical and apparently darker than darkness itself), and that’s funny. Taters gonna tate XD What if nothing is real? 0_0 The funny thing about that is Betty’s actress was actually 15 when she filmed Homecoming. Therefore, she was really the same age as her sophomore character (yes, this Betty Brant is supposed to be the same age as Peter and his friends). A rare thing in film & tv. Now maybe she looked a little younger than her age, but considering in real life she’s 5 years younger than Holland, Batalon (Ned) and Zendaya, it’s not surprising that she looked even more youthful than her co-stars. Needless to say, they changed this 1 “little thing” about Betty for this universe. I’m all for it. Nice article. The great Miller truly outdid himself with this beast of a film... A masterpiece. Detractors be damned indeed If anyone in the film deserved to get their lights punched out (why stop there), it was that bonafide scumbag Fletcher. Andrew? Honestly, he did Nicole a favor. Things could have ended a lot worse between them if they had stayed together. I mean, fact is Andrew wasn’t going to let his dream go, so he basically told Nicole that he was gonna be a pain in the ass to be with and he wasn’t willing to commit to this relationship at all moving forward. As is, why hate him for not mincing words and wanting Nicole to move on? Of course he broke her heart, but would it had been better if he had forced himself to stay in this relationship and likely put Nicole through some unnecessary bs as his obsessive self attempted to pursue his dream? He was certainly being vain, but also arguably being considerate in his own way. Moreover, to me it’s apparent Fletcher is the main reason why Andrew had to “force” himself to end his relationship with Nicole (no doubt Fletcher seriously started getting into Andrew’s head). Was Andrew egotistical? Yes he was, albeit having someone like Fletcher (who was infinitely more egotistical) pushing him around like he did didn’t help the guy’s character one bit. And I don’t fully agree with Andrew being a big-headed prick, especially given that this once mild-mannered but fairly ambitious kid ended up being pushed to his limits both physically and mentally by an abusive asshole. The bottom line is, Andrew did not want to throw everything he worked hard all his life for all away, and because drumming/Fletcher ended up consuming his life, he wanted to avoid any “distractions” that were possibly going to get in the way of his dreams. In closing, Andrew made the right decision (right as in not causing further damage to someone else) by breaking up with Nicole. I would absolutely argue that he messed up with her (she would have been been there for him when he needed her unlike his music), but that’s besides the point. The dude wanted to succeed, I guess, no matter the cost. Just the internet at its finest up above. Anyhow, yes, Ms. Cruz is gorgeous AF. A great beauty and talent. Cool. Though Hoult is an actor I quite like (and I certainly wanted to see him in this franchise), having him as the film’s villain is something I wasn’t entirely sure about. Now the idea of a much younger villain played by none other than Hoult sounded VERY cool to me, but at the same time I also think Hoult would’ve been great as a team member of Ethan, especially with Jeremy Renner’s character no longer being around. But Esai Morales? Yeah, he’s a fantastic choice! I’m totally looking forward to seeing him go against Cruise. Sure they could do this with Scream, but should they? Maybe not, unless... the 5th movie fails. Or not. I mean, if you ask me the Scream series didn’t get as convoluted and bad as the Halloween series did, so Halloween 2018 ignoring all the sequels felt necessary imo. But while this also isn’t the direction I would like to see them take the Scream franchise (I’m rather excited to see what they’re going to do with this next installment), the idea IS interesting. I would see that movie. Wook at dis, it suits those wike the wedgie OP perfectly who’s wikely a fanboy of the true hack that is the style over substance Zack Snyder https://i.pinimg.com/originals/97/3d/a5/973da5c6e54861538c6e6e67ffdecccb.gif Bish, bye! He an his bwother are just Kevin Feige’s swaaves. They are nat diwectos, they are weeple who wollow owders an cant chway wanyteeng. Can’t wait for “Cherry” myself. We’ll see who’s gonna end up being exposed as the hack, anti-Russo whiner (whoops, the broken record tool OP already beat the Russos to the punch with this nonsense, bahaha!). But breaking news: according to naysaying little men all the acclaimed & popular directors who’ve directed acclaimed MCU films are slaves! Wow, extremely wealthy slaves who get A LOT of the credit on these big films (that a visionary producer supposedly pieced together all by himself) and have proven they’re talented filmmakers outside this gigantic (detractor and elitist-triggering) franchise. What kinda world are we living in where slaves, especially the so-called hacks The Russos, are treated this awesomely?! Pathetic AF detractors gonna be pathetic AF while The Russos be sippin’ their little haters’ tears. Finally! It might’ve taken decades but at long last they are being noticed by most people who look at Salma. Thank u good dude for being more observant than most and saying what needed to be said first. (Yes they rule)
