how old was pitt in movie
just watched this and found it so good watched it a second time not sure i do this with many movies thought they where all great actors that kind of war is not used much too many die
shareWWI Vet. Career so probably mid-late 40's. He looks young in real life so it stands to reason. He's 56 now but he could pass for 45. I know guys in their 30's that look older. If he enlisted at 17 back in WWI, he'd be about that age by the time the movie is set.
Explains why he speaks German but also why he speaks it poorly. It parses fine, but his accent is terrible.
