Gee, I wonder what kinda wonderful people are gonna lose their reactionary shit over this. And... they’re off!
I guess people have a point in that Hollywood is out of ideas nowadays
Yeah, and fittingly most of these people are boomers, xoomers and mad film geeks in general that have been screaming their “Hollywood is out of ideas” mantra for over a decade and rarely/never make an effort to support modern original content. Super original y’all are. And let’s not forget that many of those belonging to these aforementioned groups are... oh yes... fragile bigot reich wingers who every day have meltdowns over the non-regressive ways of Hollywood and fortunately society today. Yet as paranoid and fear mongering as said reich wingers are about the industry they love-hate (and everything else that upsets and frightens them), the fact is Hollywood is still doing rather poorly when it comes to that “pc” representation stuff that tiggers the back in my day privileged reich. But obviously, they can’t be doing too poorly in this regard judging by all the constant anti-modern Hollywood whining you see from the “macho man” fascist magababy type (the progress is slowly but surely happening!). 🥱

100%! Fantastic addition to the cast and just perfect casting (who better, aye).
And this here is why even though I disagree with the OP for the most part, OP’s post is still rather refreshing. Kewl CGI-hating boomer xoomers (hating is obviously your thing) with their “original” anti-CGI takes on the other hand? Zzzzzz

Four words: Hell to the yeah!
The opening is nothing short of spectacular, it’s exciting, stylish, and superbly crafted.
And although the rest of the film didn’t come close to topping that opening, overall I don’t dislike Spectre (or the aforementioned yellow tint which worked beautifully).
More f’d up than the not-so-well-liked sequels, rite. Lackluster sequels (according to many, I like them myself) that will suddenly be treated like masterpieces... especially Revolutions... once this new one comes out and those already hating on it (particularly the silly ass red pill chumpflakes - lol, the reich adopted the red pill term when it wasn’t meant to represent their bs causes by any means) will say it’s the worst thing ever even if turns out to be a big improvement over the last two. But hey, I remember you! Bro who whines too much about films and everything else (and bro is wasting no time doing just that with this new account). Then again, this is anything but uncommon online.
Well I got an idea - don’t see it! It’s simple as that. Yeah, I know, it’s not so simple for you and all these other actual agenda-driven complainers. Hate watching shows and films these days so one can later rant about them is a thing, after all. #StayMadAndKeepCryingBro
That’s brave, T. Super duper brave.
Now my turn....
Parks and Rec >>> The Office
[In virtually every way]
Yea, that’s how I roll. Hatred originating from disreputable jabronis is going to continually persist.
Lol, that would have been the ultimate douchebag face-off! (Although it’s possible they would have teamed up, methinks they wouldn’t be able to stand each other any more than anyone else can stand them.) It really would’ve been hilarious.
If it can be great, then I say why not! However, I do agree with you.
But money? It’s funny, Netflix basically spends money like it’s going out of style. Not worrying about having numerous projects in development aside, them ordering another season/sequel to one of their popular shows or films is how they roll. That said, I think this series will be left as it is (we’ll see).
I’m trying hard to see it, but... I cannot. (Maybe a little in the eyes.) Anya is more unique looking.
Now, to some comparing Anya to Heigl isn’t complimentary, but idc... Heigl was hawt back in her heyday (probably still is, haven’t seen her in anything recently like I’m sure many haven’t). Anya is something else, though. ;)
Riveting.
You hear that boring noise, though? Well you guessed it... it’s coming from the Brie & Hollywood-obsessed reich wing chumpflakes that have been spewing the same crap about this particular person for over a year. Meh, whatever unoriginal nonsense these “virtue signalwing! Pc! Go woke go bwoke! Anti-whyte dude! Wacist! Identity powitics! Not one of our nazi barbies!”-screaming hawdcore “alpha” magababies have to keep saying, at the end of the day y’all know no one’s as ugly, pathetic, and insignificant as they are.
But yes, no-longer-is-active-on-this-site-franky88, Ms. Larson is damn gorgeous and downright awesome. Keep sippin’ them haters/chuds’ tears, Cap! (Now watch the magababy fascists continue to be the jokes they are.)
I don’t understand how this gets praised so much while the force awakens for example gets so much hate.
It’s simple — many/the majority don’t see this series as a failure like you and other naysayers do. These criticisms you have? Most feel the exact opposite - and rightfully so. So needless to say, all this is, like, your opinion, man.
I love The Force Awakens btw (a film that did have its detractors since day one but in reality it was generally well-liked until a certain sequel made it kool to dislike it). But this show - a much fresher, badass and absolutely better crafted Star Wars story - is indeed superior. No? Ok b, well keep hate watching like all the real kool ones do.
He’s... the boogeyman. Simple answer, really. :) Eventually he was going to find out about it, so why waste time... just have The Shape get down to business.
Hey you know what, that sounds about right - altright. But for real, a fascist era (take II) with sad privileged reactionaries all over the place wanting to claim what was once supposedly theirs again is also an era in which we live in, check yourself chuds.
But aww, regressive bigots be sad the industry they hate but can’t let go of has moved on from the good ol’ super pc vanilla days (although many of the people in power said regressives share their old values with are desperately trying to turn back the clock everywhere) and lifeless trolls like horror up here.... yep, equally sad and pathetic. Continue to whine you shall
Same here
Whoaaa
A Most Violent Year
Inside Llewyn Davis
Ex Machina or Drive
Can’t wait to include Moon Knight in the list ;)
Fuggetaboutit
Who did? The studio he worked for for the last 5 years? The one that owns the highly acclaimed and successful film franchise that he’s now going to join? Hmm.
Welp, it makes sense! After his last big franchise ventures (one which was based on a Marvel property of course - not including Sony’s Into the Spider-Verse), no doubt all he thought about when deciding to join this acclaimed franchise.... that has attracted a plethora of A+ talent since day one... was the Benjamin$. :/ That wouldn’t be the case when joining something like a Nolan joint though (awe yeah, I’m bringing back there)... one of the only real filmmakers in today’s apparent film elitist-unfriendly world. No question cash is the last thing any actor would think about when deciding to work for the director who made the biggest Batman films thus far, unlike... hem. 🙄
But yeah, that’s what you have to say regarding this awesome casting news, huh? (Portraying one of the most interesting, complex and nuanced characters in comics he is.) Well, duh. Why wouldn’t it be? Even when discussing a franchise you seemingly seem to be into, being concerned with the corporate side of things above anything else seems to be your thing no matter what (yeah, cuz we know small independent studios totally don’t want to make lots of money themselves and they can live without it all in the name of art). After all, Hollywood ain’t doing much for u these days it seems. Too many assumptions? Suuure. 😏 Be more original, bruh.
Right....
(If only this were an origin story or something)
Yah
