I'm guessing its due to the fact that they now do motion and facial capture in one go. They're hiring more actors than voice actors. And Billy Murray (OG Price) is now 78 and probably cant do it anymore. Barry Sloane has nailed it though. It's like hes a younger Billy Murray.
Im watching the series now for the first time since I was a small boy when it aired. I just noticed him too!
He's been turning them down for years. He said it was the premise.
Exactly! I totally understand it. I always saw him and Data as friends as the show continued. Plus especially in First Contact and Nemesis they were close.
I totally understand the objections against the show. Youtube reviewers are crapping all over it. But I really enjoyed episode 1.
Perfect!
"Now put on your little pussy hat, and get out there and buy some tickets!"

I'd imagine as much as James Cameron was involved in the new Terminator. Which is to say zilch. The studio wants you to think George is heavily involved so they can share the blame if the film is not good.
Does it hurt?
Believe it or not I was a kid in a hotel in Pakistan. We were visiting our family for Xmas(go figure). I was browsing and looking for something in English and boom there was the Thing on tv.
Or why didn't he use the time stone and reverse Tony? He was able to do it with an apple, he could've saved Tony/
I get where she is coming from, but aside from Comic BooK Movies, there are very few box office draws. The Academy has always been a tad out of touch with the larger film going community, but now they ae completely out of touch with what is resonating with people
I figured it would do well but with all the Media against it, I'm surprised it has done beyond expectations!
I personally didn't like much of the cast from season 6. 24 killed off so many great characters in its previous seasons, it shot itself in the foot in season 6 moving forward
Well this is just a theory given how evil OCP is. They could raise the rent to exorbitant rates, knowing full well people cannot pay them and then evict them~

So I don't necessarily blame Disney, I blame the studios. So Disney owns Marvel Studios and Lucas Film. Each Studio has a degree of autonomy. Of course Disney has a a huge hand in it, but Marevl is run by Marvel lovers. With Lucasfilm you have Kathleen Kennedy who has a woderful career of films. But when it comes to Star Wars she doesn't have that love for it that others do. This is manifested with the writing, directing and casting choices they have made.
I would also argue that you have better alternatives. IE Marvel. Also a Disney property but Marvel Studios is packed with people who love the source material and aren't trying to reinvent the wheel.
I liked it.
"Rusty Nail's "philosophizing" about the rain made no sense to me whatsoever, and didn't seem to relate to anything in the movie. "
He says he likes storms, they wash everything away a clean slate etc etc. In essence, he was saying they were free to go. He had his fun and revenge on them.
