I found the same thing, that only a few posts are archived and not all the posts in the thread. At the moment it's a glitch, and seeing that time is running out for the IMDB message board closure in a few hours' time, well I guess we are just going to have to live with it. I wasn't able to sign in with my IMDB login in, I had to register here. Luckily, no one had taken my name here so I've got the same one I had in IMDB. Maybe without realising you just registered using your IMDB login name. All you need here is a username and password, and no email address or telephone are necessary, which suits me fine. The last two films I saw were Nocturnal Animals and Silence. I used to go to the movie theatre at least two times a week, sometimes more. Now it's only once every three months or so. The cinema is becoming too expensive, especially here in London. I also hate going to very busy screenings, because people just ANNOY me. Either they are talking or they have their phones out, or they are eating and slurping too loud. So I try to go to less busy screenings. What I have also found is that here in London, some films are only in the theatre for one or two weeks, before they are dumped into a really late session or disappear all together. The big budget films though are shown in dozens of cinemas and at all times for weeks on end. No wonder they do better in the box office. I'm sure Jim is doing what he can, but yeah, it would be great if all threads and posts could be archived, including individual actors, directors etc. Bargle, I agree with you. Only entertainment-based content should be on here. I'm sure there are lots of other sites where you can discuss Politics and Religion. Someone in IMDB recommended this site and I'm very thankful they did. Because of AMAZON which owns IMDB and also the pressure of movie studios and actors' agents. etc Negative reviews/discussion on films and actors equated to less money in a lot of movie people's pockets. Or why do you think there were so many studio plants in the boards defending their 'star' or series or film? It bothered them that we had freedom of speech and we didn't buy into their b.s So BOYCOTT AMAZON. And give 1 star reviews to big budget films in IMDB. Hit them where it hurts them! And in social media, only write negative things about IMDB and Amazon. Save your 'real' reviews etc for other sites. The better the rivals do, the more sucked in IMDB/Amazon will be. Oh, one other question! Will be able to EDIT our posts at some stage? Just realised I wrote 'safe' instead of 'save' in my last post and was going to edit it but couldn't. lol Jim, it's fantastic what you have done, so one big thank you to you! The only problem I've had with the site is that I have noticed how not ALL posts from a thread have been archived. Where in IMDB a thread could have several pages of posts, here you only have one page. Can this be fixed so that ALL the old posts are attached to their threads? Some replies to posts are very informative and I think it would be nice to somehow safe them, even if the threads do run to several pages. It's nice to see that this old thread from IMDB has been copied to moviechat.org. Thanks! I still stick by my dream's analysis, btw. Otherwise, why would she be so obsessed with weddings? Wow, it does!!!! Brilliant!!!! Just testing to see if this works.
