Did full boards make it over?

For instance, Lost has 1650 threads on IMDb, but only 100 here. Is that true on the other boards? 100-thread limit? Just curious. If you've mentioned that was one of your limitations, Jim, I missed that. 100 will include like 25 just on the IMDb shutdown, so it'll miss a lot. I'm still super appreciative of the board getting here, though!!

I found the same thing, that only a few posts are archived and not all the posts in the thread. At the moment it's a glitch, and seeing that time is running out for the IMDB message board closure in a few hours' time, well I guess we are just going to have to live with it.

reply

And you are right, not all the threads have made it either. What a shame!

reply

Apparently not.

reply

No. Before Amazon decided to axe the IMDb message boards they first vandalised them by engaging in massive deletions.

reply

So much great analysis lost forever.

reply

Nope, you'll find many actors boards sadly empty still, whist 13 year old posts still on obscure TV shows.

reply

I’m sure there was no time to pick and choose. I don’t see why imdb/amazon couldn’t just end the ability to post. What an archive it was!

reply

Yep, it's amazing to find some posts almost 20 years old here! Just a shame they didn't all make it.

I look at the old posts like survivors of the great flood! HAHA

reply

I think it depends on what IMDb made available to archivers.
