I disagree. Should they speak with British or American accents then? Or should they speak in a foreign language most of the world want understand and many would not even bother to watch as a result? Speaking in English but using German (or whatever language is their native) accents is effective. The final scene was brutal. I cared about them all. I agree. Sounded like a sci-fi monster movie (or "Human Centipede" even) I have 5.1 surround sound bar systems in all my vacation rentals and just bought two more of the Vizio SB4551-D5 systems (https://www.vizio.com/audio/home-theater/sb4551d5.html) that Costco had for $100 off at just $299, an awesome deal for a long 45" sound bar, bluetooth subwoofer slim enough to fit under or behind a sofa and surround speakers. I highly recommend that whatever sound system you buy (sound bar, home theater in a box, etc.), that you get a full system with 5.1 (or more) sound to enjoy all the surround effects -- they aren't even much more expensive. Here's a review of the current system I mentioned above: http://www.soundbars4u.com/vizio-sb4551-d5-smartcast45-5-1-sound-bar-system-2016-model/ Just download it. What about Ginny's website? Pretty official eh? Keep in mind though that the bartender was his only friend for so long. So he'd discussed so much about being lonely and mentioned waking another pod long before he ever considered actually doing it. If you only had him to confide in you'd probably run that by him to at some point, long before you actually thought you'd do it. But yes, with all that amazing technology and freedom and food and clothes and entertainment and exercise equipment isn't it strange that we couldn't just be happy like that forever? There's something so primal about needing company, even if it is not a sexual companion. I mean, he was thinking about killing himself just because he didn't have it. Yes, I had never heard of her and was watching "Doubt" when it came out and thought, "My God, who IS that actress?? Awesome scene!". "Okay, Troy...you're right. I'll take care of your baby for you...cause...like you say...she's innocent...and you can't visit the sins of the father upon the child. A motherless child has got a hard time. From right now...this child got a mother. But you a womanless man." That was my favorite part too. The best was Davis's delivery. You're thinking, "Man, how understanding can this woman be and how much shit can she take?!?". Then, she throws out that very last line as she's walking away which really changes the tone of what she had just said. I wonder if the bar scenes reminded anyone else of Kubrick's "The Shining?" Yep, first thing I thought of. Lonely, desperate man has one person, a bartender, he can confide in any time of day or night in an otherwise abandoned or ghost restaurant. Why did it get such LOUSY reviews on RottenTomatoes from the critics, and only semi-okay from the audience? He played the sympathetic puppy-dog very well. Good casting. Especially when he was first alone trying to figure it all out and then when she was beating him and he surrendered allowing her to kill him.
