Compared to "Arrival" which was horribly boring and a complete waste of money to make and time to watch, this movie was utterly fantastic and one that is definitely worth watching especially for science fiction fans! I will be buying it on blu-ray!

I wonder if the bar scenes reminded anyone else of Kubrick's "The Shining?" Regardless of whether it was other people's cup of tea, it was mine and so I gave it 9/10 - if they had found a way to sleep and make it to their new home planet, I would have given it a full 10!

Also for anything me who likes this sort of movie - spaceship destined to colonize a new home world, another good movie is "Pandorum" only it has a horror twist!

I disagree - it is definitely worth watching several times.😃

I saw it four times at the theatre ( one of which was 3D, which helped with the exterior shots ) ; but my home tech only runs to DVD, so I'll have to make do with that.

I really enjoyed Passengers. The ship design was gorgeous, the SFX's great, and Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt were excellent.

Fasten your seatbelts,it's going to be a bumpy night.

Why did it get such LOUSY reviews on RottenTomatoes from the critics, and only semi-okay from the audience?

Yep, first thing I thought of. Lonely, desperate man has one person, a bartender, he can confide in any time of day or night in an otherwise abandoned or ghost restaurant.
