Lol. Total desperation from the butthurt dudebros now.

As expected, the usual insults. Thank you for your participation.

reply

the dudebros are desperate and butthurt. you link is clickbait. Disney+ is still smashing all its targets.

so so sad, thoughts and prayers

reply

the dudebros are desperate and butthurt [...] so sad

And more insults...

reply

Insults? Plural?

You're giving "desperate" a lot of credit there. You can't surely mean "dudebro" is an insult.

Awwww. Diddums. If I'd known you were such a delicate flower, I would have worn a lighter loafer to tread upon you with.

reply

Diddums. If I'd known you were such a delicate flower

And more insults and personal attacks...

reply

Awww, petal.

reply

Well he's right though and as a third party here I can only say your petty trolling and acting like a 5 year old bully only achieved one thing: Me putting you straight on the ignore list.

Life is too short to waste it online with people acting like you do.

reply

It just got shorter chum.

reply

Haha the fucking loser toto is back!

reply

No Star Wars fan is going to stop watching the upcoming season of Mandalorian and miss the new Star Wars programs over an anti-Semitic QAnon cultist. No one cares about her.

reply

No Star Wars fan is going to stop watching the upcoming season of Mandalorian and miss the new Star Wars programs

Maybe, or maybe not. The movie franchise declined to the point of cancelling the following trilogy. The Mandalorian seemed to reverse that trend... something that they probably have screwed.

over an anti-Semitic QAnon cultist

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

reply

".....declined to the point of cancelling the following trilogy"

lol

reply

The following trilogy? You mean the Rian Johnson trilogy? I thought the latest info said that was still going to happen.

reply

I'm not going to pass judgement on her comments but I would be interested to know how many people didn't give a monkey's one way or other about her character previously (in fact probably more likely complained about yet ANOTHER female character ruining THEIR Star Wars) but post sacking suddenly found themselves completely outraged that she had been removed.

I suspect rather a lot 😂.

reply

Why is that even relevant?

If some actor, actress, writer or director (or anything else) is blacklisted because of his/her political opinions, does that only matter if you love his/her movies? (or books, or whatever)

I remember one picture of a US videogame development company where all members appeared to support one particular political side (I let you guess which one). I can accept that in a company one political side is more represented than another, for a variety of reasons. But every employee leaning towards the same side without exception?? That smells like political cleaning.

Of course, that has been happening a lot in US and (in a lesser degree) in Europe. It has been happening in the background. The main difference in the Gina Carano is that they made it public and notorious.

reply

Well it's relevant because of the humorous hypocrisy I pointed out previously.

And anyone should be able to recognise and laugh at that regardless of your politics.

You know, something like - "ha ha, yes that's true, these enraged keyboard warriors would have been complaining about all the female characters in The Mandalorian before this happened but now they're outraged and demanding her reinstatement. Some people just want to be angry I guess"!

It's just funny.

reply

You're right! Go to the old Mandalorian posts and you'll find the hypocrites complaining about her weight, women can't beat men, SJWs and woke putting her in the show, etc. interestingly, one of the whiners is named kuku. Sock puppet?

reply

Well it's relevant because of the humorous hypocrisy I pointed out previously.

I already answered to that. You don't have to like her or her character to disagree with a person being fired for his/her political leaning.

Explaining that is useless, though. It's a matter of system of values. In your system of values, you only care if you like her, or she belongs to what you consider your group. You just can't conceive disagreeing with firing a person for his/her political opinions, because it's something alien to your system of values. They could just send her to a gas chamber and you'd be labeling those who complained as hypocrites.

reply

Well first of all she's no anti-semite and you calling her that won't change it.
Second, I know at least two people who ended their Disney+ subscription, but I was surprised they had it to begin with.
Third, if I had a Disney+ subscription, I would have canceled it as well but I can watch Mando otherwise, for free.
Fourth, she's not a QAnon cultist, she is simply not a lemming leftist that parrots radical leftist viewpoints.

Her post was something positive, her intention was good... and her post was ultimately proven right by people like you.

Can't make this shit up, lol.

reply

1. She is a QAnon cultist and your saying otherwise doesn't change it. QAnon has anti-Semitic core beliefs.

2. Carano is an idiot. Evidently, she has a history of saying or tweeting stupidity which caused fans to become upset and Disney to issue a warning to her. Dummy Carano ended up fired because she continued her behavior. All employers have conditions for continued employment. You're defending an idiot who can't follow company rules.

3. Carano had no intention other than she's an idiot. Idiots need to stay off twitter since they only end up in trouble.

4. If you were true to your convictions then you wouldn't desire to watch a Caranoless Mandalorian show at all. It appears you are creating an excuse not to pay to watch the show because you're cheap.

5. Disney also includes Marvel superhero movies and TV shows, ABC, Fox, Touchstone and ESPN. I'm pretty sure you're not going to boycott any of those Disney products. Disney is laughing at you while they take your money!

Unlike you, I couldn't care less about Carano. I'm just pointing out the stupidity of her triggered apologists who defend bigotry and QAnon.

reply

I'm sure you can prove Carano follows QAnon, unless your just making false allegations.

reply

He's just bullshiting. Regular troll, just ignore him.

reply

Been reading some of his/her posts and I don't see any trolling. I do see trolling from a vast conglomeration of right wing possibly paid posters though, perhaps the same group that destroyed IMDB when they couldn't stand a movie being named "I am not your ni****".

reply

She repeats QAnon beliefs and defends the cult group. All you have to do is research QAnon beliefs and read her past quotes to make the connection.

No reason whatsoever to make false allegations. Anyway, her 15 minutes are up.

reply

She repeats QAnon beliefs and defends the cult group.

Source?

reply

You're literally going to have to read all her past comments and tweets like I did after you go to different QAnon conspiracy theory articles.
I went to about two dozen sources.

Not hard to find if the truth doesn't scare you.

reply

I went to about two dozen sources. Not hard to find if the truth doesn't scare you.

I'm glad "the truth" is so easy to find: that means it should be easy for you to link the source. And it's not me the one scared of what shows in that link. Actually, it's me the one who's asking to you to link the source, and you the one who hasn't done it yet.

So again, source?

reply

You're lazy!

And Carano is still fired by Disney.

reply

Wouldn't have killed you to do a simple search.

I can see clearly now the rain is gone and it is obvious you kukuxu are one of the many trolls. You're full of it.

reply

I'm no troll. I asked for a valid source, which neither he nor you were able to provide.

The article you linked makes the claim "she has posted about QAnon" but again... if fails to provide a single example. Your "source" doesn't provide any source.

So again, source?

reply

just put 1 link.... just one!

reply

He won't so don't bother asking.

Keelai just shouts out baseless accusations without any proof and then when you call him out on it, he moves to the next person and then rinse and repeat.

Just ignore him, he is the very definition of a troll.

One would think you idiots could use the internet.

Gina Carano fired from ‘Mandalorian’ after anti-Semitic social media post
A spokesperson with Lucasfilm said in a statement on Wednesday that Carano is not currently employed by the production company with “no plans for her to be in the future.”

Who let you use dad's computer anyway?

reply

About these QAnon morons. The claim is Q was a "high ranking military officer" on the 4Chan message board, a website full of hackers and gamers. Why in the hell would anyone ever trust a military officer anyway? Thought these types didn't like big government. Well the military is the biggest branch of the government we've got.

reply

They basically believe an anonymous person(s) online spewing wacky nonsense. I was told cults and terrorist groups fill an emotional need. Q-cult skyrocketed in March 2020 when the pandemic spread and people became isolated. That's a lot of fear and loneliness. Q allows them to believe they have some control.

Q beliefs can vary and some beliefs have spread into Trumpism and beyond. And they have become violent which is why it needs to be addressed as a national security issue.

'Q was a "high ranking military office"... Thought these types didn't like big government."

Forget about finding logic or reason with this group. They'll repeat things mindlessly once they're in the rabbit hole and they prefer it in there.

reply

"Q beliefs can vary"

So... anything you don't agree with? Is this the "Wrongthink" I hear so much about? Pretty scary time we live in.

Bring back the arena of ideas and stop modern censorship.

reply

Q beliefs vary because there are multiple Qs.

You're confused about the difference between holding a different opinion and believing in conspiracy theories.

Do you believe the conspiracy theory that the earth is flat?

Or the conspiracy theory that lead Edgar Maddison Welch to walk into a pizzeria with a rifle to "rescue" nonexistent kidnapped children held in a nonexistent basement reported by a nonexistent secret government agent with a Q-rating?

Are you OK with the conspiracy theory which caused Ashli Babbitt to be shot dead by a cop when she tried to crawl through a window in the Capitol building in order to do harm against the vice president and elected officials?

Do you support "wrongthink" when it includes hundreds of parents killing their own children at Jonestown and then themselves based on the words of a crazed minister?

"Disciples of the unfounded theory have been accused of violence, attempted kidnapping, attempted murder, and other criminal acts.
The FBI field office in Phoenix warned in a bulletin last year that the group was becoming a domestic terrorism threat, and the same determination was made in a July report from the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point. Many of the accused consider themselves to be vigilantes seeking justice where the US government has not."
https://www.insider.com/qanon-violence-crime-conspiracy-theory-us-allegation-arrest-killing-gun-2020-8

The article was written before the Capitol mob attack and people lost their lives including Babbitt.

reply

... except when it is applied to anyone who simply thinks differently from you and is not up to any violence. He who controls the language controls reality. The words "domestic terrorist" are being used to vilify any Trump voter, ie. half the country. It is a dangerous trend and those who try to point it out are getting steam rolled.

reply

Not ANY Trump voter.

Just the kooks who broke into the Capitol and tried to destroy democracy. And those who ran over peaceful marchers with their cars. And the various violent hate groups like the KKK and neoNazis.

I'm sure you don't want to defend them. Even Trump called the Capitol mob losers.

reply

I even doubt that these kooks were able to write an X on the ballot at the right place. So they were probably no Trump voters.

reply

You have a good point. Many of the rioters and other Trumpists didn't vote at all. Then, they become upset when Trump loses.

reply

I would never defend violence against the innocent. All of those you mention are bad actors and should be denounced (which Trump did, btw).

You might want to research the origins of the KKK. They were Democrats.

reply

And Christian. What's your point?

reply

Also true.

reply

Present day white supremacists are Republicans.

reply

Mostly true. Many are neither Rep nor Dem.

I just thought you might want to leave off the KKK from your 50% infomercial since they shine light on the parts you don't want to include.

All the groups you cite are reprehensible (although the capital blitzers were about as threatening as a troop of mimes). But your point is obvious by way of what groups you leave out. Partisan cherry-picking which shows what your true interest is: partisanship.

reply

No reason to leave out the KKK. There are other groups like Proud Boys, etc. but most people get the idea.

reply

Funny when anyone cites Proud Boys. Nothing racist about them at all. A person of color is their president even. More standard talking points.

reply

Idiots need to stay off twitter

That would be the end of Twitter...

reply

QAnon doesn't even exist! They're just conspiracy theorists. The media labelled them to demonize Trump.

Conspiracy theorists have always been anti-Semitic, anti-government/church, anti-vaccine, etc. They keep adding conspiracies based on current events.

reply

"QAnon doesn't even exist!"

Tell these people that QAnon doesn't exist:
https://www.google.com/search?q=QANON&client=firefox-b-1&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi08Mn1ibnvAhVpEFkFHSjfACIQ_AUoA3oECCIQBQ&biw=1024&bih=635

Someone is making a huge profit selling the Q cult merchandise.

reply

1. She is a QAnon cultist and your saying otherwise doesn't change it. QAnon has anti-Semitic core beliefs."

what did Gina say that was anti Semitic ?

reply

1. "Because I say so! *stomp!*"

2. So you are against freedom of speech... not surprised.

3. Carano's intention was being an idiot? What? Do you into words?

4. "Only true Scotsmen!!1" and I never paid for Disney+ to begin with because I'm not stupid.

5. I am not watching any of that super hero crap, it is for mouthbreathing American teens and tweens who will never know what film can mean. Your assumptions make you look mighty stupid by the way.

"Unlike you, I couldn't care less about Carano."
I don'T care about Carano, didn't even know her before Mando.
What I do care about is freedom of speech step by step getting censored and people starting to lose their jobs due to political affiliations under the pretense of "hate speech" or "being offensive". I care when Carano gets fired for her tweet, but Mr. Pedro "Woke" Pascal can keep his despite multiple tweets that were arguably even worse.
And no, I am not saying he should have been fired. I am saying no one should get fired for their political beliefs.

Shit like that happens in totalitarian systems.

"I'm just pointing out the stupidity of her triggered apologists who defend bigotry and QAnon."
For someone who so far failed miserably to convince anyone here, who parrots only what he picked up at some leftist media outlet and who constantly makes idiotic and pointless assumptions about others... you are not in any position to call anyone here stupid.

Explain, in your own words, where is the bigotry in her famous tweet?
Nothing in her tweets had anything to do with bigotry.
Do you even understand what bigotry means?

reply

She made light of the Holocaust by acting as if Republicans are suffering as much as the Jews who were exterminated. Steven Spielberg fired Megan Fox when she compared her director to a Nazi.

Anyway, your anti-Semitic heroine walked back her comment on a podcast with Shapiro as well as deleted the post, therefore she acknowledges she did something wrong.

"“But now after hearing so much, I actually have grown through the experience of [realizing] it’s not fair to the Jewish community to just throw this out here so much. When you say the word ‘Nazi’ and when you call someone a ‘Nazi,’ you need to have a little bit more respect on it. So, I understand that. But it was in no way my intention,” she said."

She had also been fired from Fast and Furious years ago because they realized she would eventually become a PR nightmare.

You're living in LaLa Land. A private employer has rules in place for certain conduct which reflects poorly on their image. Carano repeatedly broke their rules so she was fired. It's that simple.

Disney comment:
"“Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future. Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”"

Of course, I'm not surprised that you support hate speech and QAnon conspiracy theories.

Enjoy never watching ABC, Fox, Disney and Touchstone movies, Mandalorian and ESPN because you're easily triggered.

Baby Yoda is much more popular, anyway!

reply

"She made light of the Holocaust by acting as if Republicans are suffering as much as the Jews who were exterminated."

See you already fucked up by blindly parroting what others told you to think instead of reading her tweet yourself and coming to your own conclusion. If you would have done so, you would have realized that she wasn't even mentioning the holocaust with a single word, let alone making light of it (and why the fuck would she!?).

Here is what she said:
"Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?"

She is clearly talking about the beginning stages of the persecution of the Jews in Nazi Germany, long before the Holocaust happened. Her point is the alienation of people and turning them into a national enemy, conditioning people to hate them and discriminate against them. In her example, for political beliefs.

Ironically what she said was proven later by Disney and pretty much everyone stupid enough to not understand the danger behind such practices.
Even more ironic is the fact that modern leftists fall for something Hitler did 90 years ago. Repeat lies over and over - at some point people will believe them.

Today, you are one of these people.

"You're living in LaLa Land. A private employer has rules in place for certain conduct which reflects poorly on their image. Carano repeatedly broke their rules so she was fired. It's that simple."
I am not the one putting private company's "standards" over a nation's Constitution, nor am I the one who is unable (or unwilling?) to see the double standards executed by Disney.
I mentioned Pedro Pascal earlier but as usual this gets ignored completely. Wonder why...

So perhaps think twice before you accuse others of "living in LaLa Land".

reply

You're playing semantics.

"I am not the one putting private company's "standards" over a nation's Constitution"

LOL! Obviously, you don't understand the Constitution. Typical.

Carano's 15 minutes of fame is up! Adieu.

reply

"You're playing semantics."

No, I did something people like you are unable to grasp: I used actual arguments to support what I say instead of just making shitty claims for the sake of being inflammatory.

It is also quite intriguing that from all I said, you only replied to this specific part so... unspecifically.
As expected, you have no ground here.

reply

Obviously, I have plenty of ground since Carano is still fired from Disney. And she groveled and apologized for her anti-Semitism in front of her new employer Ben Shapiro.

I will laugh my head off if Shapiro lied about wanting to hire her in order to watch her grovel.

reply

And she groveled and apologized for her anti-Semitism in front of her new employer Ben Shapiro.

That's not what happened. Everybody who's seen her at Shapiro knows this.
why do you lie all thew time? What is your goal?
If you are "just a troll" it goes way too far and you need urgent psychological help.

reply

She shared a meme about how it wasn't Nazi soldiers who first attacked jews in the streets, and put republicans, like her, in the jewish role and those who criticise the views she had expressed in the place of "attackers".

You missed that part out.

Also left out is the fact that while she was still under contract she was invited to attend a discussion involving members of Disney/LFL staff and others who were affected by what she was saying in order to clear the air, raise awareness etc. She told them to beat it. And therefore, they have no intention to have her return. Why would they?

If you want to keep your supposed dream job then you attend meetings and you listen to people. You don't have to like or agree with everyone you work with but keeping a job is not that difficult or detrimental to whatever beliefs you might have if you're motivated enough and have an ounce of tact and sense.

reply

👍

reply

5. and the Marvel movies are ultraviolent, not exactly something coming from a liberal standpoint.

reply

I learned along time ago that when you see someone type out anti-semite, racist, homophobe or any of the other insults of the day that you should just ignore them because they have just signaled to the world that they are ignorant cunts incapable of providing a coherent reason for why they agree or disagree with something. I had idiots like this all through college, ask a question as to why it was right for the government of Israel to bulldoze a house if someone that lived there threw a rock and you were instantly branded an anti-semite by the woke parade. Never any explanation on why bulldozing the house was justified, just anti-semite for asking a question. You've got the same a similar idiot with Keelai.. I doubt they even had a clue what anti-semite or QAnon even means... but they heard it used and it sounded bad so by God they are going to start flinging it around like a monkey flinging shit.

reply

Sounds like something a racist homophobe would say! /jk, obviously

reply

But it does sound like it.

reply

Yeah usually the "anti-semite" trope is a tactic used against anyone who opposes Israel, but not the Qanon followers that shoot up Synagogues.

reply

"anti semitic"?

Back that up. Saying conservatives in the US today are like the Jews in 1930s-40s..isn't pro Jewish...anti Jewish....anything Jewish so what are you babbling about?

Do you have some links of her directly putting down people for being Jewish?

By the way, I grew up a Star Wars fan.....I hated The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi so bad I've not watched anything Star Wars put out by Disney since. They didn't respect the way Lucas set up the universe and established the existing characters and cannon. They just went so rogue that I do not even consider this Star Wars.
So Mandall...whatever. I'll never watch it and couldn't care less.

reply

Then you're losing out because everybody says the Mandalorian gets back to the spirit of the originals.

reply

Too late.
It is dead to me.

reply

You ordinarily hang around corpses to complain about them then?

reply

I liked her and don't care about her private views but she was fired by conservatives running a crooked and corrupt corporation.

reply

The problem is she made her private views very public after image-obsessed Disney execs told her to shut up.

reply

Right but her character was fine and being fired for what you say is a violation of free speech. Disney should be sued and fined. This "our house our rules" thing is not above the law. The US constitution is the highest law in the land. Corporations even though they get away with it constantly violate the law and it needs to stop. Ie. a corporation cannot assault you just because you're on their premises. Neither can they violate your constitutional rights. The constitution doesn't just apply to the government. It sets a dangerous precedent for our future to allow them to keep doing so. Remember Republicans brought us the patriot act and criminalized protest.

reply

Ummm, I think you need to check and see what free speech actually is. Free speech does not mean that you can't be fired from your employer. Free speech protects from the government, and even that has limitations. Firing someone is not a violation of the law.

reply

Ummm Yes, because if there are ramifications for using it, means it isn't free. But yes. Gina Carano posting on her own account her personal views is protected free speech and she should sue Disney for firing her without ample justification that affects the job.

reply

Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences. Disney says they warned her, she didn't listen. It doesn't matter if I agree with Carano or not, if she was warned by her employers, and if there was a social media clause in her contract (which I'm pretty sure there was. I have one at my job) then Disney had every right to fire her.

reply

There was nothing QAnon or anti-Semitic about her post you illiterate commie.

If you didn’t hate women you would’ve listened to her instead of some white male on CNN

reply

Carano apologized to Jews for her anti-Semitism.

reply

Source?

reply

None, exactly. Thanks for clarifying that, dipshit.

reply

She acknowledged that what she said could be offensive and hurtful to the people whose historical persecution and murder she was trying to co-opt in order to describe the criticism of her views.

But only AFTER she learned she was not being rehired by Disney. Just think. If she had thought about that and acknowledged it when Disney asked her to, instead of telling them to beat it, she might not have to be playing the martyr now that her career is dead.

reply

I can already tell you that your statement is invalidated because I won't be watching the shit. It's a poisoned well now.

reply

Good article, but the author wrongly assumes people want fairness and dislike hypocrisy. Those days are sadly gone....

reply

Forbes is dead.

Why didn't you link the magazine article?

reply

They made the right move firing her.

reply

So you think they should also fire Pedro Pascal then?

reply

Logic defeats hypocrites every time

reply

Like a clockwork.

reply

Considering Pascal's comments and those two assholes involved with That High Republic stuff, it's insanely hypocritical, but Carano herself? Nobody gives a shit about her. She's not a star. She's not even a mid-level draw.

reply

Any show is better without her. She can't act worth a crap. I'm glad.

reply
