Wow ep 7.

This was sooooo bad ...

Do they have some teleportation devices?

The armies were legions but we see at most few dozens on screen.

Wtf was Elrond kissing Galad for?

The dwarves part ... wtf was that?

The siege, so many things that are wrong ...

And the freaking illusion? Did they just made it look like how they do it in modern heist movies with the cameras on loop?

Now you know what a crappy, multi-million-dollar fanfic looks like.

reply

It was a very good episode of a boring show.

If there was more action in the overall series it would be much more popular.

You are pointing out things in the episode that were not very noticeable or much of a problem given that this is a TV show.

reply

If I noticed them (and not just noticed but outright bothered me) then they are noticeable.

And I have more, a lot more, there are too many to write them all down.

reply

That is incorrect.

Some people are "nitpickers" and looking to "notice" things that are trivial to others.

I am not a fan of the show but regarding action and dramatic situations, the episode was good due to the variety of things going on.

Meanwhile, your comments about the kiss, dwarves, etc mean nothing because you said nothing about them.

reply

Hey, I appreciate that you can shut down your brain and watch a movie/show.

I cannot do that. And I wasn't looking for problems, they just jump at me, being that stupid.

reply

You are lying.

My brain isn't "shut down" I am just realistic that no story or production is perfect.

I assume you never saw a stage play because the sets wouldn't be 100% accurate to reality, lol.

What you are doing is playing "The Critic" to find something to criticize to pump your own ego up.

reply

You can only make yourself look bad trying to defend this dogshit show.

reply

You HAVE made yourself look bad by being a nitpicker and attempting to shame me for saying ONE EPSISODE was good.

LOL.

reply

No, you said it was VERY GOOD. Because it had some (BAD) action.

It's actually one of the worst episodes in the show.

So, again, kudos to you that you can shut down your brain and enjoy pure shit.

reply

Doesn't have to be perfect. LOTR is not perfect.

This? Is shit. Between perfect and shit there are plenty of levels where this could have ended. But it ended ... shit.

Really? You compare a stage play with the most expensive show ever? LOL, now I understand why you say you didn't shut your brain down. ;)

reply

At the end of the day, it gives hate watchers more viewership because hate sells just like sex does and the imdb rating of this episode is much higher than most of S2. I say that is a success.

reply

I wouldn’t say half the point is much higher. But I see your point.

That’s more o symptom of the American viewers that appreciate brainless action, if it goes boom it’s good. And in that context how boring the rest of the season was.

reply

I figured he was kissing her so he cover up him passing on that thing to pick her locks. Which he did.

reply

Yeah, I considered that but ... we saw that, Adar saw that (unless he was blind), all other orcs saw that (unless they were all blind).

So why that could be an explanation ... It's not really a good one - I mean it's obviously bad writing/directing.

reply

The logic is that if you just give her the cloak pin, it looks suspicious.

If you give her a kiss then a gift it looks like a keepsake.

However, why can't he kiss her because he wants to?

Elves are thousands of years old and the activity between when this show takes place is thousands of years apart.

So, if some Elves were attracted to each other three thousand years ago does that mean they must be today?

reply

"The logic is that if you just give her the cloak pin, it looks suspicious.

If you give her a kiss then a gift it looks like a keepsake."

Hahahaha. Good one.

You guys deserve this show. And the show deserves you.

reply

Your comments are consistently stupid and hollow.

You are talking to an intelligent person and need to step up your game, lol.

reply

I question your intelligence when you say stupid shit.

Oh, look, they are kissing, it’s ok to give her a gun or something she can free herself with. And you pretend to be intelligent?

Sorry but this show is for idiots, and you are one of them, not an intelligent person, you just stupidly try to defend bad writing. Or editing.

At least if he would have used that kiss in a way to conceal giving her the item with his cloak or something. Not make it that evidently.

Unlike you Adar is supposed to be intelligent.

reply

You are saying "stupid shit" because your comments have no substance.

You don't explain anything but just make comments like..."What was that" and so forth, without explaining why what you didn't like was not likeable.

Many stupid people such as yourself talk about movies and say something is bad but can't articulate why.

reply

Sigh, you're a moron. I clearly articulated why.

What? If I say "there is a problem with how armies move in one day from Kazad-dum to Eregion" you need me to explain more? Are you that much of an idiot that you don't know that long distances over mountains, rivers, etc take longer to cross than one day or few hours/minutes? Although they seem to cross them instantly sometime ...

I don't need to give a lecture when I say that something is stupid, if you don't understand why it's stupid (like to teleport armies around) then you are too stupid to matter and even with a long explanation you would still not get it.

reply

You don't know what "articulate" means which explains your posts.

In addition, instead of talking about the show you keep sidetracking because you have nothing to talk about.

Wake up about yourself.

reply

"You don't know what "articulate" means which explains your posts."

Your ignorance is stronger than your stupidity.

Stop posting, you've embarrassed yourself enough. The fact that you're stupid is clear from the start, signaled by you defending this shit.

Just finished watching ep7 and 8...

Definitely the worst 2 episodes of this season. I was hoping that Arondir was for sure dead. lol... can they just please get rid of the kung fu elf. DAMN, such a terrible character! I don't mind Galadriel that much, I know people really dislike her but come on, Arondir is a joke.

Honestly, this could have been a really interesting show based on LOTR lore but it's become more of comedy than anything else. I actually laughed pretty hard watching the last 2 episodes. I don't think this was the intention though. But they put scenes in it that make you laugh and I almost think they did this on purpose. At this point, it's hard to take this show serious.

Sad really, all they needed to do was change just a few things about this and it would be a fantastic show. Still, I do find the entertainment factor to be pretty high, it's not boring, that's for sure. I'll give season 2 a 6/10. Season 1 was a little better. We'll see what happens, but season 3 needs to be a lot better to keep me watching...
