Before GOTG, I do think he gave across an obnoxious fratboy vibe in a lot of his films, but tbf in a few of them, that was the point, since he was the heel (e.g. Wanted, Take Me Home Tonight), but since GOTG, I've really enjoyed his screen presence, even in the Jurassic World films, despite their flaws.
And even if he is a con in real life, to give him credit, he keeps his politics to himself. Besides, if James Gunn, a staunch Trump critic, gets on with him, I don't see what the issue is. And whilst I'm not going to support a homophobic/transphobic church, if that's what Pratt attends, as alleged by Elliot Page, unless Pratt comes out with anything that clearly demonstrates he *personally* detests the LGBTQ+ community, I'm going to assume that he isn't a bigot.
Yeah, I generally feel the same way plus that whole thing that Page did to him felt calculated to me.

As much as I'm on generally the same side as Page, and detest all the transphobia he's been subjected to, in this instance I do think he was being unreasonable and trying to catch Pratt out, when it seems to me that the latter has said or done nothing that is identifiably homophobic or transphobic.

He may well return, but in other movies. James Gunn has expressly nixed the idea of a Guardians of the Galaxy Four. Maybe Marvel studios will do one, but he won't be involved. So Star Lord may get his own film, or he may show up in another movie about a different hero or group of heroes. There are all sorts of possibilities.
