^^This^^ Half the scenes that show her teeth, they look crappy. And that's with today's HD. Imagine 480 or even 240, and it's going to be exaggerated.

The bow doors open as far as the ship is wide. There were 3 subs parked side by side inside the ship. It's entirely feasible that all 3 subs could depart simultaneously. Like millsey72 said: Pay attention!

What are you talking about? I drew you a picture a child could understand. Nowhere did I mention "inappropriate." I stated factual information as to "why" the filmmakers chose to hire a 50 year old actress.
Because Top Gun was released in 1986. This movie was released in 2022. The movie itself was filmed in 2019, and a 2019 calendar was shown in the film, so we'll be using that year.
1986 to 2019 is 33 years. Maverick was banging a General's daughter, Penny Benjamin, prior to the events in 1986. Ruling out Mav committing statutory rape, we'll assume she was at least 18. 33+18=51. Jennifer Connelly, who played Penny in this film, was 48 during filming. That would put Penny at a more realistic 21 in the first Top Gun.
