Helen Hunt's face

What the hell happened? She looks like an alien.

reply

Haven't seen it but I'm guessing.........facelift?

reply

Looks like a facelift where the skin has been pulled too tight. That’s not natural aging.

reply

PUSHING 60,HAS NEVER GONE IN FOR SURGERY OR ANY NONSENSE...LOOKS LIKE A NORMAL WOMAN OF A CERTAIN AGE TO ME.

reply

No - that is not natural.

reply

FOOLISH

reply

Her face looks quite different from how we remember her. Indeed she is about 54 at the time of filming but looks quite a bit older. Nothing wrong with that, but she has an unnatural thing going on... her face reminds me of an old face... with all the wrinkles flatten out. This doesn't give youth, and nor does it imply no fiddling with anti aging ... I agree; she does did not look natural. Certainly not for 54.

reply

YEAH...SHE SUCKS AND HER FACE IS AWFUL...I WONDER WHY PEOPLE KEEP SAYING THIS PLACE IS TOO NEGATIVE🙄

reply

Thanks for contributing substantively to the conversation. Go back under your rock now. Hit the caps lock key on your way out.

reply

Klownwalski thinks typing in caps lock is gonna make his shitty posts less shittier. Too bad they don't lol.

And yes, HH's face was terrible and looked like a Halloween mask.

reply

118 AND 99...BABIES.

reply

Post count has nothing to do with the quality of the posts, just like the number of adherents isn't proof of an idea's merit. In my experience, it's actually the opposite - people with the highest post counts aren't the most interesting or smartest, esp. in sites like this one.

You are being selective in your outrage and not looking at the whole picture. There are tons of threads and posts on how hot and attractive an actress (or actor) is, so it's only natural there are also threads like this one. No one's going around picking on women simply for the sake of it. But Helen Hunt's facelifts (to remove wrinkles) have wrecked it to such an extent that she looks like someone else altogether and almost like she's wearing a mask. She doesn't look like a normal woman of her age, as you've mentioned above.

reply

YOU SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON YOUR HAIR,HUH?

reply

😂

reply

I don't think she sucks. I adore her. And too in this movie, but the OP has a point. Something seems unnatural. All power to her.

reply

YOU SEEM RATIONAL...RIDDLE ME THIS...WHY DO WE NEED THREADS BASED ENTIRELY ON HECTORING WOMEN OVER THEIR FACES,WEIGHT,AGE,ETC...WETHER THE OP'S HAVE "POINTS" OR NOT.

reply

I do not know. Or know if it is so.

However, we all take pleasure in conversing about movies, stars, producers, directors, etc. Why is that? Well, I suppose because of a shared love for the industry.

This particular thread raises an issue as HH, in particular, looks out of the world, her looks do stand out in this movie... and so, a topic for conversation. I think that is pretty much it.

reply

Settle down, psycho.

reply

AWW...ARENT YOU DELICIOUS🥰

reply

We figure out at a pretty young age that as much as we fight it, most of the value assigned to us in society is predicated on how much men want to fuck us.

reply

That’s very honest

reply

I AM GUILTY OF SUCH BEHAVIOR BUT VERY MUCH CONSCIOUS OF THAT FACT AND WORKING REALLY HARD TO BETTER MYSELF.

reply

You are appreciated

reply

I agree. Her face did NOT look natural.

😎

reply

Nothing natural about immobile skin.

reply

Her forehead is huge

reply

No, it is definitely a face lift and a very bad one at that.

This happens sometimes...

reply

I agree, a really BAD face lift! She should get her money back!

😎

reply

I feel like something's happened to her chin and nose, too. I could be wrong, but her whole face just seems really angular in this movie.
And her face still has "normal" wrinkles, which makes the facelift aspect somehow creepier, if that makes sense?

reply

Absolutely serious question (I've not seen this film), is she not wearing some kind of horror makeup in those two shots?

reply

I legit laughed out loud at your serious question.

reply

I honestly thought she must be when I clicked on it.

reply

It's not an irrational thought.

A few years ago I realized I hadn't seen her in anything in a long time and decided to look her up. I was shocked by her appearance.

I never would've guessed the really cute woman we see in Twister would one day look as she does now. She was so charming and attractive in that movie.

reply

Yes, it's a shame.

reply

That's the sad part, she's not even supposed to be the scary part of this movie, she's just the mother/wife character.

reply

Time is a vicious beast.

reply

That's exactly what I was thinking. She looked terrible!

😎

reply

Yep, just saw the film and she is most definitely horror movie material...her face, at least. Urgh.

reply

Why would the director hire her? When she’s onscreen all I see is Helen Hunt with a bad facelift.

reply

Completely agree, utterly distracting. I was stunned when I first saw her. The again, if you check her IMBD, she has four new projects coming out in ‘21 so industry folks must still believe she’s something extra special. I don’t get it

reply

That was my thought, too. I can understand them wanting her based on merit, but how did they still say "yes" after seeing her looking like this?
And I hate to even think/say that, but it's true; her face was the most frightening part of this movie.

reply

One must get the feeling that the director deliberately emphasized her scary face in the movie, hehe.

reply

Probably a production decision. Her name gives the film gravitas, she can definitely act, and may have even invested in it. Her name appears above the line, so she probably signed on for points more than up-front money. Her career was waning, so maybe this would help her restart it as a more mature role. She's more than a love interest here.

Anyway, I vaguely recall she's one of many who got a bad lift and had it corrected by another surgery. Better than it was, but not as we remember her.
