They should have made a better movie.

The problem was never an 'all female' Ghostbusters, contrary to what the alt-right idiots were saying. The problem was a poor script, substandard direction, a complete lack of originality with everything from the ghosts to the film's marketing logo, and an overly absurd and goofy tone that failed to ground the supernatural theme in something approximating the real world, in contrast to the 84 and 89 films.

For straight and cis people to punch down at the LGBTQ community. For the able-bodied and mentally well to punch down at the physically disabled and mentally ill. Maybe she should should recognize that her film lost money and is regarded in the industry as a bomb. Films like that typically don't get sequels, which is entirely sensible.

Nothing that I know of. She's was probably only cast as you said a for being a woman, being black and being in Saturday Night Live.

Similar problem with the new Charlie's Angels none of the actresses are huge box office draws.

Nobody gives a shit if it's all male cast or all female, it's not like 2016 GB is a cult favorite. When it's an all male or female cast people tend to make it a point but it was never a point in 1984/89.
