anybody else see it in an empty theatre?

All the posts I've seen so far talk about how the crowd was clapping and the theatre was packed, I saw it and there were 4 people in the theatre including myself. I think it made it a lot more immersive and suspenseful because I almost felt alone, but was anyone else not in a crowded screening?

I saw it in a theater of about 10 people, including myself... Everyone was into it until the ridiculous 'turkey baster' scene - several people burst out laughing because it was so stupid...

That scene completely ruined the movie.

Also, I live in Las Vegas, and I hadn't heard anything at all about this movie... other than two times that I saw a trailer for it before other movies at the theater.

I was the only person in the theater when I saw it. It was a nice day outside and on Sunday at a 1:15 showing though

I usually go to the cinema pretty early- before noon if possible. So, yeah, there aren't usually too many people in the cinema at that time.

I do that to cut down on the butt-holes who can't stay off their mobile phones. Plus I always get to choose the exact seat I want ;-)

There were only 4 people in my theater, though to be fair it was yesterday at 14:45 and it's not a time where most people go to the movies.

This being said, I think it was better not to watch it in a packed theater... for more serious and intense movies like this, it works better if there aren't many people watching it due to clapping or whatever other distractions they do. Packed theaters is better for action movies from my experience.

Saw it last Tuesday. Six people total in our theater, and I'm positive two were having sex in the back row.

I did see the early, AM show and I think it's been out for a few weeks now, so I think that might account for the low occupancy.

I saw it today, my group was 3. There were about 5-7 other people in there. No one made a sound throughout the whole movie. It was wonderful. Given, the movie has been out a while now.

I would hate to have people standing and clapping. I like a quiet theater.

I jerked off with popcorn butter during the movie...the entire room was packed, but, hey I don't give a damn theater butter is the best for having a wank.
