Kristen Stewart can't act

...this has been seen time and again. She only has one expression. I can't believe why anyone keeps hiring her.

I don't know her or anyone related to movie industry, I'm just a random movie goer. Yet I can't believe why anyone would hire her?

reply

Agreed, she was simply dreadful, as usual....

reply

She was better here than she usually is, but no, she can't act. She's awful. Worse I ever saw her in though was Into The Wild. This was tons better than that, but she's still a terrible actress who always looks messy.

reply

Maybe because of her good looks?

reply

Well she didn't look good in this movie. She continually scrunched her lips and batted her eyes and shook her head like a moron. (All traits she shows in every single movie.)And, evidently, she was unable to comb the rat's nest on top of her head.

Also, in this movie, I don't think she was even remotely feminine. I think she looked and acted dykey.

I just wasn't made for these times. (Brian Wilson)

reply

If her hair looked like a rat's nest, it was because it was suppose to like like one. Actors and actresses sit in chairs and have professional stylist style their hair. She looked exactly the way she was supposed to look.

reply

How do you know she can't act? Maybe she is acting like a bad actress?

reply

i liked her in Panic Room when she played Jodie Fosters son

reply

I kind of agree, but I liked her in this one. The last scene could have been delivered better, though.

She has this weird little stubborn, tough grimace--thing she does with her mouth which would be completely inappropriate for a Chekhov role--looked anachronistic.
