Leaving aside how good or bad ' Rise of Skywalker ' was what about Daisy's performance ?

Was she excellent, good, so-so or is she still a no talent bum in your opinion ?

reply

Bump

reply

Excellent.

reply

Wonderful.

reply

What did YOU think about Daisy in this film, Quasimodo?

reply

I haven't seen it yet. I never go to the cinema because it's too loud and there are too many idiots. So I have to wait for the Blu-ray to go on sale.

reply

Ooookaaay.

reply

So so again.

reply

Interesting.

reply

Bad plus she looks like a horse

reply

How's the obsession with Daisy's teeth coming along then ?

reply

She aged right out of her cute phase really damn fast.

reply

Dood, she's 27.

reply

Well that explains it. She may as well be 100.

reply

Now you're just being silly...

reply

1 year past hitting the wall then, pity women age like milk.

reply

I tried dating 30+ for a little while...yeesh.

The weird thing is now that I'm out of my 30s, I'm getting more looks from the early to mid 20s ladies. Go figure lol.

reply

You may look like Brad Pitt, so no offense, but they can sniff-out a man's resources like a dog can sniff-out a bone.

Have your fun, don't spend your money on them, DON'T get them pregnant, and DON'T marry them.

reply

Hey ya know could be my butt-chin, could be the ridiculously expensive blazers I wear...who knows lol ;)

I've had my fun, got too much to lose now. I'm very careful.

reply

I thought the wall was 30?

reply

26 is the wall on an average lifespan of 78: youth 0-26, middle age 27-52, old age 53-78.

Can be a bit earlier, can be a bit later on an individual basis depending on how many horses on the carousel they've ridden, how hard they been ridden, # of pregnancies, and genetic luck or misfortune.

So, after 26, they're already on the sale rack, and being aggressively marked-down by the year.

reply

There's no specific age....all depends on the wear and tear due to the excessive sex, drugs, eating, and alcohol.

reply

Not everybody can be kat dennings or Kelly Brook. Horsegirl sure isn't

reply

It's a wonder you obsess over Daisy's teeth when it seems what really catches your eye about women lies about ten inches below that...

reply

Horsegirl doesn't cut it.

reply

Excellent. Best of the 3 movies.

reply

Good to hear. I thought Daisy was outstanding in TFA so I look forward to watching RoS when it comes out on Blu-ray.

reply

Daisy's acting was never the problem. I think she and the rest of the cast did the best they could with what they were given by the writers.

reply

I actually think her animated facial expressions were the saving grace of TFA.

reply

i definitely think she's the weak link among the main performers. i found her flat & a bit of an energy void, as i did in the other films.
oscar isaac is the star of the show here, imo. he's finally given the chance to be funny and charismatic. i'm not a last jedi hater, but i think he truly got the short end of the stick in there. this film really plays to his strengths, & it's about 50% worse every time the focus is off him.

I just can't take this sort of criticism seriously. Daisy's acting was anything but flat and she is full of energy on screen. You are either suffering from some sort of mental aberration or you are lying.

reply

or both!

i admire your passion for this topic.

reply

Daisy Ridley "made" the sequels, just as Ewan McGregor "made" the prequels ....despite what anyone thinks about these films she was awesome in them. 😎😎😎😎

reply

Couldn't agree more about Daisy. If you take her out the films would have been like limp lettuce.
