Season 2 sucked hard

Couldn't finish.

Can't believe that after a week i'm still at episode 4 and don't feel the need to continue watch it ... i guess i will still.

They tried to sell Jager and Governor lady as these super evil fucks, but all I could give was zero fucks.

Getting through it was a struggle. I almost gave up twice. If I hadn't been avoiding work, I couldn't have finished the season.

It really needed a fresh story, but there was Quell, the sister, Poe, Jaeger... all the same old characters, places and themes as in the first season. The dialogue was pretentious in places, the plot was contrived, the characters' actions were often nonsensical and there was no humour at all. It felt more like the fifth season of a show than the second.

Such a shame, isn’t it?

I watched Season 1 three times in a row when it first aired & then at least four more times over the next year or so.

Season 2 was such a total punish that I had to force myself to finish and it will be ‘one and done’ for me. I’m not even remotely interested in watching it again.

No humour, no sexiness, no heavy hitting soundtrack, no world building and Anthony Mackie was so completely void of any charisma, I will never go out of my way to watch him in anything again.

Biggest disappointment of a series return I’ve experienced in a long time.

I binged the last 5 five eps just to get through it. I like Anthony Mackie, but not in this boring season of a show.

I fell asleep several times while watching.
Finally struggling through Episode 8.
So slow, so boring. None of what made season 1 good.
