I kinda thought it happened when he "switched the polarity" on his camera to make it a projector, which seemed to magically make the bad guys visible no matter which way it was pointing...never mind the fact that the film had gone through quite an effort to prove the "creatures" were visible through the specs they were all issued. BTW, did you notice by the end no one--and I mean no one--was using the specs any more? I mean, weren't they originally wearing them because they offered a huge tactical advantage?

Agreed with OP. I liked the movie and was very enjoyable but those weapons and space suits kinda ruin it for me.
