it kinda went full retard when

one guy

in ONE evening

"A-team's" it up and using random parts and a HOT GLUE GUN

builds a PLATOON's worth of weapons that fire "Focused Energy Pulses"
so SPACE LASERS
and a BIGGER bada-boom space CANNON(and thank god he didn't go proprietary with those connectors and battery packs huh?)
oh and cool new space ARMOR that we'll put on in slo-motion
and new space armor HELMETS
... complete with pretty lights holographic crosshairs etc etc

no really in one evening he advanced technology to Call of Duty Infinite Warfare with a hot glue gun. dude wrote the code himself.

You made me laugh so hard. I stumpled upon this movie on imdb and wanted to check the board and your comment was hilarious. I think I'll skip this movie...Fiction is fiction, but if it gets too rediculous, I lose interest.

Right because the general public will instantly recognize a "Weller/Dorman" soldering gun. we all must look mighty small to you from up there on your high horse.

- The armor everyone is complaining about could have been special heat gear from whatever kind of contraptions was in those crates

- The Rotweiler-Robot-Camera-Carriers were badass

- Yep, the space guns with beautiful interface were too much and too designed. But, I wonder if the mainstream audience cares. I mean, we're a couple of geeks discussing this stuff on IMDb, which basically disqualifies us as mainstream audience. The guns did look badass.

Compared to the last Netflix production I saw (after which I decided: never again), I was pleasantly surprised. I especially liked the army guys and the first part of the movie. But the badass battle at the end was cool. I must say I'm impressed with all the script alterations people came up with in this thread, especially the person who mentioned they could have just used the prototype weapon from the first scenes!

This was a Hollywood production. Netflux bought the rights to it because Universal passed on releasing it.

Totally agree with the majority that this was about as retarded as it can possibly get.
Anything for Max Martini , but this was a tough one to endure!!!!!

Tony Stark was able to build this in a cave...with a box of scraps

Didn't that take him like a year though? These guys did it in a day.

Pretty much made the movie go off cliff for me. All of a sudden this guy became macguyver's son and completely designed hundreds of new armor, weapons and gear with limited resources. Ridiculous.

Hey, don't forget the hammer! If you want to re-configure electronic circuits into high-tech weapons then you definitely need a hammer! </sarcasm>

It's called Scifi.
