S06E03 - Beyond the Sea

Good concept but they didn't really do anything interesting with it in my opinion. I thought their deep space mission might have some bearing on things but nope.

Would have thought your type would have loved it. Every character and extra was white as can be.

I wonder why they didn’t put the replicas in space instead.

So far I’ve enjoyed this one the most. I was right on my predictions for the most part, but I did not expect Lana and Henry to be killed off. I thought for sure the guy would impersonate Aaron Paul and then have his way with Lana, while Aaron Paul was either trapped outside or taken out.

It would have been nice to know a bit more about the purpose of their mission in space and why replicants could not be replaced.

And it’s funny I was also thinking while watching, Kate Mara’s age is catching up with her fast.

The premise wasn't great, in that it made little logical sense -
Do you ever wonder why Musk wants to send bots to Mars before sending in humans? There's a good reason for that.

Of course.... in today's world where idiocracy runs true, anything is possible - our dear leaders are getting dumber with each day. In 20 years from now, our dogs will be taking us for a walk on a leash - meanwhile AI will run the world of morons - not a particularly intelligent AI either..

It was good. I did predict the ending. I also kept thinking why didn't Nasa or whatever
entity running the mission try to help and why wouldn't there be backups replicas.

It almost feels like they were living in a simulation as well for some reason, which would keep up with their Quantum world theme going on this season, if you haven't seen Joan is Awful. Because obviously the tech world they lived in must be way into the future, but Aaron Paul's character was living like Huckleberry Finn. LOL! It's not just because of the rural life. When Josh Harnett's character asked to take the car to town, you'll see they drive a classic car that looks brand spanking new, and not just that, others in town were driving classic cars as well, sparkling new. If not a simulation, some sort of parallel world, not our world? I dunno.. SMH. LOL!

Yeah I noticed Kate Mara (40) looked weird too. It was distracting. But she looks fine in interviews. Maybe it was bad make up on show. She looks fine here

Josh Hartnett (44) looks his age too. He was "puffy". Its funny but he looked hotter with beard. He should keep it. Beard hides age well for some men.

Aaron Paul is 43 but looks a lot better than Josh. And I really dont understand why Aaron Paul would not grow hair and walks with buzz cut. He would look younger and better with hair. He looked so good in first seasons of Braking Bad. Then cut his hair and all hotness was gone and he never regain it since.
