I wanted to walk out of the theatre after that first scene. That girl Nadine was not necessary in terms of walking around like that completely butt naked. I mean they can show that they had sex without having us see her 10 foot nipple or every hair on her body. I just would like to see a movie with my husband that doesn't have a naked woman in it just for shock value, it lasted too long in my opinion. Am I the only one? I ended up loving the movie regardless, but will just fast forward it when I see it on dvd :)

it was unnecessary, but i think they were trying to show his lifestyle right off the bat: drinking, hungover, post-party, with some much younger naked girl in his room. i agree it wasn't NECESSARY to show the nudity, but given the content of the film, it's clearly an adult picture anyway--i've seen far more gratuitous and 'exploitative' examples of nudity in other films.

Although it's an excellent film, the woman's full frontal (and every other angle) nudity lasted waaaaay too long and diminished the overall quality of the movie. Bad choice for a film that's vying for an Oscar nomination.

You should feel honored that you got to see one of god's best creations unclothed. Nadine Velazquez is one of the most sexiest women alive...flawless even!

It wasn't that big of a deal. Sure it was pretty distracting but I was hardly offended by seeing a naked woman. Assuming you're a woman, I'm sure you see the same thing every day in the mirror. lol
