Nude scene

I wanted to walk out of the theatre after that first scene. That girl Nadine was not necessary in terms of walking around like that completely butt naked. I mean they can show that they had sex without having us see her 10 foot nipple or every hair on her body. I just would like to see a movie with my husband that doesn't have a naked woman in it just for shock value, it lasted too long in my opinion. Am I the only one? I ended up loving the movie regardless, but will just fast forward it when I see it on dvd :)

I think this scene was fine. When you are drinking and doing cocaine and having sex, you tend to take your clothes off :) You don't wake up with them on. This seemed like a natural nude scene to me, she wasn't dancing around or being "sexual"; she was getting her clothes together. I'm a woman and it didn't bother me, it told a story on how the character Whip was and who he associated with (naked women!)

I'm a bagel on a plate full of onion rolls!

Lol, i feel sorry for your husband, where does the poor sap keep his balls, the nightstand, in a jar under the bed?

The Internet is FULL of porn.
In almost every movie, tv show, magazine you see nude girls, so who gives a crap...

Google is your enemy.

Oh no! A naked person! Whatever will I do?!?! I've never seen a naked person before, it offends me so...
I think I'll have a cry and threaten to walk out of the theatre. That'll teach people to be ashamed of their bodies.

I watched the DVD on a train and was really embarrassed just because it lingered a long time and you kept seeing her body parts again and AGAIN. I think it gave good context that he is a bit selfish and a rule breaker (I assume pilots are not supposed to sleep with flight attendants). But that could have been achieved without such lingering shots.

She did have a hot body... Beautiful! So who cares! It was only in the beginning and there were no such scenes later on in the movie. So just live with it. Why make a big deal out of it? Great movie overall!

reply

lmao. wait, are you serious?

reply

the scene lasted for too long. I could even accept nudity, but not that long. In my opinion it was not necessary

reply

the version i saw had no such scene

censorship at its best, everything without 2 layers of clothes must have been removed

that explains why there are many 'jump-ed' scenes

and the dialogue etc made no sense
