Rewatch

I like things in this, but I don't think I'd watch it again. Anyone else feel the same?

Maybe at Halloween

I LIKED A LOT OF THINGS IN THE MOVIE...I WILL REWATCH IT...BUT IT WON'T BE FOR AT LEAST A FEW YEARS.

I saw it when it first came out and I've rewatched it once since. I love it, but I can't see me sitting through the whole thing for another couple of years yet. But I can certainly see myself rewatching certain parts of it.

I have watched it probably once or twice a month since it released on HBO Max (and eventually Blu-Ray, plus I saw it in the movie theater opening day). I think it's a pretty good movie and has very well pacing. It was my favorite movie of 2022. The movie doesn't feel like an almost 3-hour movie (2 hours 47 minutes without end credits). I've even seen shorter movies that felt longer than The Batman. Like Skinamarink (more recently at the time this comment was typed) or Wolf with Jack Nicholson (I finally watched it maybe during the first 7-10 days of January 2023). And I think I really like the movie because quite a few times I'll say I'll watch the first 60 to 90 minutes and then before I know it, the end credits start rolling. I also like that when the movie does start to slow down, about a minute or two later something happens and things take off again. But if you want to see a movie with no re-watch factor, go watch Skinamarink. I also thought M3GAN was pretty boring and slow too. That movie has no re-watch factor for me.

Agreed. I saw it twice in the cinema and I’ve rewatched it quite a few times already on 4K blu-ray. It’s such a visual feast with some truly stunning cinematography and of course the incredible sound design and musical score to accompany the sublime visuals.

I honestly think putting this iconic character in a film with David Fincher/Seven vibes was a genius idea from Matt Reeves and it makes it feel fresh and different from the Nolan films.

So yeah, huge rewatch factor on this film for me. Also Batman gets so much screen time in this film, it truly does live up to that title.

Not me. I've watched it twice and each time it seemed shorter than 3 hours.

I just saw it for the first time today. I doubt I'll watch it again but not because I didn't like it but rather because there are so many other films and TV shows I want to watch right now.

This was a pretty good movie though. I'll give it a slightly lower rating than what IMDB has it at the moment (7.8) and go 7.5 out of 10.

I'm not sure it completely worked but it has some memorable characters and a very intriguing sense of mystery to it. I would actually add this element to the genre listings. Right now it's listed as action, crime, drama. I would throw in 'mystery' as well. Again, pretty good movie but I don't think it's quite as good as the Nolan films. But worth a look if you have any interest at all in anything Batman related.

I've watched a few times. And yeah, I'd watch it again.

It's fun to see how people look at this. Personal opinion: Robert Patterson was really good though I'm not into the Emo look. That's not on him though. Bruce Wayne shouldn't look like he'd go out doing something involving the underbelly of Gotham. But then again, he's supposed to be young in the game.
