How likely that they'll bring Robin in the sequel?

I think it was hinted a little bit in the movie:

Alfred dropped "The Circus" referring to his former workplace.

Catwoman mentioned "Bludhaven," the city Robin ends up after becoming Nightwing.

The whole focus on mobsters as the villains. And the fact that Penguin is set up to be the main adversary in the next movie (probably along with Joker.) Traditionally, Robin's parents were killed by the mob.

And Batman's cowl looks like a homage to Adam West version's cowl design. Which has Robin as his sidekick.

What do you guys think?

I wouldn’t mind seeing a Robin in a sequel. The best Robins we’ve gotten have been on TV.

Yeah. That actor playing Tim Drake in the recent season of Titans is in this movie, he is one of the train gang guys, with the half face paint, he ran away after Batman beat the rest of 'em up. 👀

Oh wow. That means they wanted to integrate Tim Drake into The Batman's universe! They even made the facepaint only a half, so we can see who he is. I've never watched Titans, but this is exciting!

There's a fan theory that the mayor's son will be Pattinson's Robin.

I don't want Robin, but I absolutely thought the same when we saw him.

If they do a full trilogy I could see them bringing in Robin.

I’d prefer it if they didn’t bring in Robin. I hope Matt Reeves gets to make a trilogy that’s dark and gritty and has The Court of Owls and Joker as the main villains.

Then in the next inevitable reboot years down the line have a bit more fun and bring in Robin and have villains like Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy again. Maybe have Matthew Vaughn directing.

I agree, I'd prefer it if they don't bring in Robin. I can do without Joker for a while, too.

Yeah, could probably just have Joker in a smaller role like Penguin in this first film.

Hush might work better as one of the villains.

Don't need either. Or Batgirl, Batwoman, or any of the comics family. Should be by himself and no superpowered villains.

We already had a whole trilogy without Robin. He was then teased in the Snyderverse and nothing came of that. It’s time they bring Robin into the movies again, preferably without race-washing or bi-washing him.

Don't need him. Batman is better as a solo act.

We have plenty of movies with Batman as a solo act, it’s time to bring Robin in. All the Robins have been popular to some degree, with the first Robin becoming the even more popular Nightwing. It’s time he got to shine in a good movie.

Batman’s cool, but he’s better when he has a foil to bounce off of. On his own he can be kinda boring.

Actually in my opinion he is much better as a solo act. Batman Forever and Batman and Robin are both bad partially because they had Robin and Batgirl in them. But whatever just don't bring in Batwing or Ghost Maker.

It’s fine to have an opinion, and mine is that he’s better in a team.

Bad writing is what killed Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. Good writing like in the cartoons or Arkham games show that Robin can work in a serious setting.

If they do bring Robin, it won't be like the comics. They will have to give him a full mask or something because the domino-mask doesn't provide a disguise. And it would be odd to see this loner Batman have a full-on sidekick

I think they may introduce a character named Robin who works with Batman the way Gordon / Selena worked with Batman. But I don't think Batman in the sequel would bring someone completely into his fold, revealing his Batcave and real identity and such

They may also have to kill off Gordon or, at least, minimize his role as Batman's partner. Otherwise, he and Robin would be redundant
