Finally watched The Revenant. I went into it with monster expectations. I thought it was good, definitely not great. I really thought Apocalypto was a better movie overall. Agree or disagree?

How come everytime someone picks The Revenant over Apocalypto someone gets a counterpoint pointing how bad The Revenant was?
They are both awesome. Enjoy them for what they are. I picked The Revenant over Apocalypto but that doesn´t mean I didn´t Apocalypto but I didn´t have the need to point out why I liked it more and I bet that no one of us will ever accomplish what Alejandro and Mel did.

Where did I say it was bad? I liked it, it just wasn't a "classic." Apocalypto isn't a perfect 10, but it's iconic.

The Revenant is the kind of movie that grows on you. Time will tell whether it will go down as a classic.
On a personal note, it will stand the test of time.
