Finally watched The Revenant. I went into it with monster expectations. I thought it was good, definitely not great. I really thought Apocalypto was a better movie overall. Agree or disagree?

Easily Apocalypto. Not only did it have a more genuine lead acting performance, but the overall theme of Apocalypto (of a civilization gone mad before their eventual death) was far more interesting.
shareThe Revenant is a good movie for sure, very good looking movie even but Apocalypto is on antoher level, its a topclass very exciting movie, more of a fine thrill if you like, its two very different movies, hard to compare but I liked Apocalypto more.
