Ken's character (Gosling) stole the show

They should make a Ken movie.

reply

he should join gi joe in the sequel and fight in a war and return to barbie.

reply

Agreed. Gosling was delightfully goofy and funny as Ken. He stole the show.

reply

And that's also the reason why he's been nominated for an OSCAR.

You also have to admit how the NASTY SNUB that he got from BARBIE (who said EVERY NIGHT was GIRL's NIGHT) was enough to make anyone feel sympathetic toward him.

And it also made it easy to comprehend the events which followed after she hurts his feelings by flinging that hurtful remark at him.

Poor Ken.

reply

He`s been nominated? Cool.

reply

Yes he's up for an OSCAR but Barbie and the Director of the film didn't get nominated and lots of people were having fits about it.

Go Ryan !!!

reply

Honestly, it's deserved. Margot's acting was nothing special in this picture, and she is not entitled to a nomination just because this movie did well at the box office, despite what women say.

reply

I agree ... been a fan of Ryan's acting for quite some time now.

It will be wonderful if he does win the trophy!!!

reply

Honestly? He was the only good thing about this film, along with the musical numbers

reply

He sure did. I was really impressed by Gosling's comedic chops. The rest of the film was largely insufferable, but it certainly wasn't made for me.

reply

Without ken this movie would have been awful.

reply

Thats because he was the protagonist of the movie. Ken is the one that goes through a character arc.
