Is there still someone out of there making movies for men?

Just watched the last Mission Impossible few days ago. Quite good.

And the Expand4bles now. Quite bad.

But yeah, they still do. And it looks like Rebel Moon has a lot of male actors as well so it might not be as bad.

They can be done well, it’s not a female messiah flick but You’re Next is a bitchin non woke movie with a kick ass type female lead.
I’ll give Snyder the benefit of the doubt on this one, he’s a talented director, imo, I’m also a fan of his filming aesthetics, so I’m rooting for Rebel Moon.

When you look at all the movies released and how many of them have men in lead roles then it's like 90% of them. But still we see man-boys, who live in moms basement and whine about: "Where are movies for men? Whay-whah". It's so pathetic and actually funny.

No. No one makes movies for men anymore. All 500 movies released every year are made by women, about women and for women.

Define "movies for men"? Because if you're not gay, a movie about a female Messiah actually sounds great to most men as long as they wear revealing clothing and have a large rack.

What sort of movie do you want?

One of those homoerotic 80s action flicks with a bunch of roided up men flexing their oiled up muscles? Have a long deep think about why you prefer watching muscular men instead of beautiful women. Give it some thought over the next few days pal.

I'm against pandering to ideology in films. Movies shouldn't just be be made for men, women, black, white, gay, straight, roght, left, or anything else in between.

Movies just need a good set of characters who have relatable perspectives the Audience can understand. Pretty woman is a chick flick. But, everyone can get behind Vivian because we relate to her character and understand her point of view. Same Goes with Baby in Dirty Dancing.

Now pull on over to Red Dawn and you have a guys film with characters who make sense to the whole audience.

Good character goes much further than demographics.

BTW, Snyder movies have very light characters who do a lot of dumb things for the visually cool plot. This is why he's a mixed bag as a director.
