Can't wait to miss all those movies, well maybe except for Dune 2. What a bunch of crap.

reply

Wait, isn't Nolan's Oppenheimer coming also in 2023? That is an interesting one. I might even go see it in theater.

reply

Yeah it does. Looks interesting but you know it will be a weird strange trip of a movie.

reply

Yep, I'm afraid they all walk and run backwards or something...

reply

Haha, was thinking the same thing.

Indiana Jones DOD probably similar to KOTCS (800m ww) at most. be surprised if it does more

FastX wont be as big as expected. little more than F9 box office like 800m

Aquaman2 bit less than 1st one like 800m

MI7 will be the biggest MI yet (due to last one and TG2) breaking 1b

Dune2 will do about same as D1 (400m even though that was with streaming)

The Flash will be huge (due to Keaton returning, time travel/multiverse, anticipation of previous DC film cameos etc) 1b

Shazam2 will do similar to 1st (and Black Adam) 400m

Guardians3 easy 1b

The Marvels 600-700m

AntMan3 bit more than 2nd - 750m

Kraven similar to Venom2 about 500m

Cocaine Bear lol - pretty big for what it is like about 200m

SawX - pretty big like the new Halloweens as its scary movie for the halloween month. 100-150m

D&D, GB4, Meg2, Expendables4 will all bomb - 300m/150m/200m/100m

reply

You forgot to list The Barbie Movie

reply

1b ww

reply

Well I at least got Barbie right..

reply

These lists just show a downhill trend since that 1989 list

reply

Except for 1989....all the other years are almost exclusively scifi/fantasy/action/horror ... 😂....all big fx laden films.

reply

89 also had Star Trek V

reply

Also Halloween 5 Revenge of Michael Myers, Police Academy 6 and Karate Kid 3, Jason Takes Manhattan

reply

reply

There's no way they have that Ghostbusters movie slapped together in a year.

reply

If its as quickly put together as the previous one then maybe they can

reply

I guess i'm imaginaing a lot more special effects than will probably be in the movie.

reply

1989 also had The Abyss
