Now that Elsa is FINALLY dead...what's up with this S2 nonsense?? *Spoiler*

This show was a nice tidy package destined for a short-run. But people whined and cried and felt entitled to another season. So now you're probably gonna have some hacked-up up garbage-story that tarnishes and ruins anything good about season 1. I can't believe Paramount caved for a S2.

reply

S2 will make no sense as all the major characters are dead or moved on. Elsa was the best part of the show at least.

reply

Elsa was the worst. She looked too clean and pretty for the setting. Her romance subplots were cringe. She was a slut. Her death dragged on and on and on.

There's rumors getting around that, while "1883" is over, we might get another "Yellowstone" prequel called "1932", around the time of the prohibition and the Great Depression: https://www.esquire.com/entertainment/tv/a39096738/1883-season-two/

reply

1883 was leaps and bounds better than Yellowstone, not sure why it was one season and then kill off all your major characters. Elsa was a great character too.

reply

Please don't put spoilers in title. Having said that, I'm glad she's dead :)

reply

Hey asshole, thanks a lot for the spoiler!

reply

You the man! Isn't the lack of common courtesy a pain in the ass. How hard is it to type in "Spoiler"....

reply

Apparently too hard for some. I've only got two episodes left and now I know how it ends. Like I said, what an asshole.

reply

It's in the title of the post

reply

Sorry. I edited the post title.

reply

Are you really that stupid?

reply

So where did you hear that there will be a season 2?

reply

I've just finished ep. 7.
I'm watching it only because peeps said nearly everyone died, so it makes no sense for there to be a second season.
Having said that..... successful US tv shows usually run well beyond their welcome. Limited TV series are rather rare in the US, because if there's ever a limited tv show and it becomes successful, the 'limited' bit no longer applies and we get 5 more seasons, each one worse than the previous one, until we get to the final season which nobody even bothers to watch.

reply

What’s up with the spoiler directly in your title? C’mon man

reply

Not to mention we now have 1923, not to mention the original Yellowstone. We know the Duttons get there, we know they keep the land. It's a bit like watching a film about the Titanic and pretending you don't know the ending.
