The Addams family used to mock the 'normies' and societal norms and now Wednesday is used to push contemporary agendas. Patriarchy and colonization bad.
Lots of "normality" here for a character that is supposed to point out the absurdities of... normality.
I basically blocked all the progressives, so don't bother replying if you get offended by my opinion, chances are I won't be able to read your crap anywyay.
Maybe I'll have to check it out. I was a little put off by the fact that, from the trailer, it looked less like Addams Family and more like an Addams Family-themed Harry Potter show.
Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer are a fantastic destination for a spring trip!
Never had been there, only know pictures.
Even if the OP-guide gives up, we'll find our way to the CΓ΄te dβAzur. πβπβπβ https://moviechat.org/tt0319343/Elf/63472652726dba78e9c57c23/deleted?reply=638616288d217f68262cd5e0 (further reply impossible)

After watching the first episode, I noticed they are going the "strong female" character route with her. Good at everything and doesn't need no man or doesn't want to get married and have kids. She's too good for a guy and kids. Plus she thinks girls/women are good and boys/men are bad. All that nonsense we get nowadays when it comes to gender/sex. I'm getting tired of being told I'm a piece of crap. I get it. Time to move on. I just want to be entertained.
But the show is off to a bad start for me. Oh and after the first episode (because I'm getting tired of this "strong female" character stuff, and the pacing was terrible (that first episode kept going and going and felt 2-3 hours than 60 minutes)), I went to YouTube and watched a bunch of Angry Grandpa videos for the billionth time. Had more fun watching those videos than I did the first episode. And at least when an Angry Grandpa video ended, I wanted to watch another one. Can't say that about the Wednesday show. And as annoying as Bridgette can be in those videos, I'd rather put up with her than Wednesday. Well, this Wednesday. I liked Christina Ricci's Wednesday.
"Good at everything and doesn't need no man or doesn't want to get married and have kids. She's too good for a guy and kids."
So...she's playing the exact same character that Wednesday Addams has always been? Were you this triggered in 93 when Ricci's Wednesday was everything you just said?
β I noticed they are going the "strong female" character route with her.β Heaven forbid π
β Good at everything and doesn't need no man or doesn't want to get married and have kids.β I am sure that you have NO problem with every male character whoβs been the same way in nearly every film since the beginning of time.
