Major Flop! Opens with $4.6 Million!

Was projected to do 6-9. So this coming in way below expectations to give you a perspective of how awful this opening is.

Beautiful to see. They really shoulda tried harder with that Jason Momoa version they were making. That would have at least made its money back.

Was to be expected, i did not even know the movie was about to release, almost zero marketing for this movie beside the new crow character being in Call of Duty. Remember how a decade ago we see trailers on tv constantly, even if the movie was bad. In the 90's even movies that were bad got huge marketing campaigns, even toys! Now, just a trailer on YouTube and thats it, they got no faith in their movies anymore.

reply

Lionsgate knew they had a stinker on their hands and didn't want to waste anymore marketing a movie they knew nobody was going to see.

reply

I think that's it.

reply

Considering how terrible the trailer looked not much of a shocker.

This reminds me of the time I was sitting on my couch and got skunked while watching Nick at Nite. We never did figure out how the critter got in but it certainly wasn't in the mood for reruns of Pete and Pete.
