I don't know about you, but I had a blast watching it.

Plus, I'm an IT Crowd fan, and I enjoyed Ayoade in the movie. It's a good Summer Sci-Fi/Comedy flick. The critics have rods up their butts.

I really agree OP, great fun movie to relax with for a few hours. Yea it was over the top, but pretty sure that was the point people. I love watching these types of movies, unfortunately they are few and far between.

hve not seen this but I just saw Total Recall and I thought it was a solid sci-fi action entertainer , your typical popcorn stuff.Cannot understand why it was a huge flop.

Even at 5.7 this movie is seriously over-rated. Not a laugh in it. Watched this after The Campaign and Ted and there's no comparison. Even though Campaign went for feelgood as usual with US comedies about 3/4 of the way through, it had enough laughs to sustain it for me. And I'm seriously disappointed in Richard Ayoade for appearing in this, unless as I suspect it was for the money for his own next project.

agree with you, the movie is deserve a 7 not 5.8, its very fun and i really enjoy watching this movie

Yeah. What really pushed it up to an 8 for me was the cinematography. The movie itself looked amazing, the special effects were really good too.

I was laughing so hard throughout the movie I couldn't laugh anymore for the last half hour or so because of sore cheeks. lol

It was good ol' fashion movie magic. Funny and entertaining. It's sad how depressed people are today. They need drugs and alcohol to enjoy life.

Actually I agree. It is a silly and funny movie. If you go to see a film like this, that is what you expect to see.

I watched it while on a flight and laughed. To me the criteria to judge a film like this by is whether it makes you laugh.

I will agree. The reviews and everything on this was awful. I had a blast. It was very entertaining.
