I don't know about you, but I had a blast watching it.
Plus, I'm an IT Crowd fan, and I enjoyed Ayoade in the movie. It's a good Summer Sci-Fi/Comedy flick. The critics have rods up their butts.

shareAgreed. This, like many other Ben Stiller, Wilson Brothers, Steve Carrol, Vince Vaughn, etc.. movies is just a money grab. Dick jokes with aliens. Zero substance. There is funnier crap on youtube. America seriously needs to raise its standards. I remember when comedies used to be funny, now it's just, "Oh, another (insert above named) flick? Pass.

shareAye, i thought this film was alright, didn't think it was terrible or anything, I just didn't love it, good time at the movies for sure though. But I think the most underrated film of 2012 was Cloud Atlas.

I agree! This is by far one of the best alien invasion movies ever made! I had a lot of fun watching this and I am 34 years old! Sure, it may have a mentality for teenagers, but we need better critics if no one finds vulgarity funny anymore.

you nailed it buddy. a fun movie. comedies are subjective (duh), but this one was watchable, i enjoyed this more than PAUL. and im a huge simon pegg, nick frost, and edgar wright fan.

Paul was heads and shoulders above this. And that's only because Sig Weaver was in it.
I agree it made me laugh with a great cast I cant understand why there's so much criticism. I love alot of films from vince, stiller and hill also good to see richard from it crowd. They dont like the plot its about aliens taking over and the neighbour hood watch kill them and a cow they shouldnt be taking it so serious i will be watching it again.
