I don't know about you, but I had a blast watching it.
Plus, I'm an IT Crowd fan, and I enjoyed Ayoade in the movie. It's a good Summer Sci-Fi/Comedy flick. The critics have rods up their butts.
I agree. I misjudged this movie. I enjoyed it more than some other high rated comedies. Got to love Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughan and Jonah Hill

The 5 minutes conversation about alien blood and how it's smell, flavour (while tasting it), colour (who has green cum?)and consistency is like cum really was quite hilarious wasn't it? (not). The highlights of the movie were guys talking about getting laid and having their balls sucked, urinating in a bottle while describing what the cold metal feels like on their "mushroom", a neighbourhood orgy where sexy women are with geeky looking guys who are standing around masturbating together and aliens that died when you pulled off their genitals. Juvenile and unfunny. Using swear words every second word is also an old ploy at humour (oooo they said a rude word "haha"). This movie is catering to socially isolated men who are penis focused (since the cast are a group of men and not teenaged boys and let's face it the whole movie is about penises). Ching ching though for the actors who didn't need to act at all. PS: Vince Vaugh unnecessarily over acts in every movie he is in and yells for no reason.
