As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.

"A Mad Max saga"... can't let go of that sweet, sweet brand recognition even when Max is literally not in the film, can they? That's just sad.

Otherwise, this looks pretty much exactly like what I expected: mindless CGI crap operating strictly on "rule of cool" and image-filtered to hell and back, existing for no reason other than to coast on the well deserved fame of films from 40 years ago.

They ran this trailer before Aquaman on the RPX screen with the mega sound. Absolutely banger. Hit totally different than it did on my laptop. Caught a lot of little details I wasn't seeing before. Very pumped for this.
