There is just so much of that on this site and it's incredibly discouraging. Very reminiscent of why the IMDb boards got shut down. Sad, sad stuff. However, those that embrace woke, Leftist ideology feel they need to stand up for the film and support it because of its "girl power" feminist and anti-white male message. In their quest to do so, they ignore the movie's artistic deficiencies.

It had a few bright spots, like the cinematography, but it was overall pretty disappointing. And this is coming from someone who liked the trailer and was looking forward to the movie. In fact, I subscribed to Hulu just to check it out.
The wokeness aside, it was also a rather dull affair. It was slow-paced to the point of inducing boredom, full of stock two-dimensional characters, and the action was largely uninspired and simply not that interesting.
But yeah, some people are flipping out, and you know that's not because they actually think it's a really great movie. There's more going on there. It's ideological.
My reason for disliking the movie had nothing to do with her gender. It had to do with how her character was written. I would hate this movie if it was a male lead that acted this way. It had to do with the fact she was extremely selfish, obnoxious, petulant and did not care about the well being of her tribe or fellow tribe members. Now let’s get into some details on her lack of care for her tribe. Here is proof that she was selfish, petulant, defiant and didn’t care if members of her tribe died as long as she could prove them wrong. When they found the injured brave that was tore up by the Lion she is the only one who knows medicine. If she cared about the tribe her priority would be to help her people. Especially if they are hurt. When her brother and another brave decide to track the Lion and the rest need to take the injured brave back to camp she starts whining about wanting to hunt because she can. Screw the injured brave. Let him die as long as I can prove myself. The thing is they could have easily made her such a great lead using her tracking and medicine abilities with a team effort. Even if she is the last one standing and serves the killing blow. Instead we got Rey with a tomahawk on rope rather than a lightsaber who didn’t care about anyone but herself and her selfish desire to prove she could hunt no matter who she hurt in the process. It was her fault the braves died that went after her when she went off alone. It was her fault her brother was captured and ultimately killed by the predator. She put them all in that situation with her selfishness. And for some reason it’s always female leads that are portrayed this way.

I agree though there are also a lot of far left posters that are equally annoying. Like that guy who goes by Leonardo DiCaprio's name who criticized me and others for our religious beliefs. He looks at the bible from a modern perspective because he's a fool. I put him on ignore. There are other things he thinks that as far as I am concerned are completley false. I'd rather not get into them though since a lot of far leftists on here think untrue false things. I do find people who complain about this and other movies being woke to be annoying. Then there's some people who go to every actress board to make topics about how ugly whatever actress is. What a rude thing to say about someone.

I'm not sure whether the moderation team is understaffed or if they just let these types of posts dominate the message board because it means, on a base level, people are still engaging with the site. Some of these users should immediately be warned and then banned, not allowed to rack up hundreds and thousands of posts.

It goes both ways. Both sides give as good as they get and there's always trolls causing provocation whether they honestly believe in politics or not. If you're calling for censorship of free speech on here I hope you're prepared for both sides of the political fence to be censored.
